well, she always runs up on the desk, drops down with her belly up like this and meows. I begin to rub her belly and she wiggles and nibbles until she's had enough end gets up and leaves. I end up doing this about 5 times a day. Maybe 5 times is not enough to deem a "like". I'll ask her when she comes back and let'cha know =)
Maybe I should also change the name to the video and just name it "How I Rub My Cat's Belly".
@svedese00 The cat liked it. When cats don't like being rubbed certain ways, they show it. She'd have scratched her hands, pawed at her, nipped her, wiggled, or just stood up and walked away.
The cats tail is also another way to tell emotions sometimes. When the tail flicks around non stop, it shows that the cat POSSIBLY is annoyed, irritated, or ur pissing it off. But don't confuse that with a tails relaxed just up and down casual motions, which as said, can show the cats relaxed.
This cat is actually quite relaxed. The tail is moving slowly from left to right. If the cat was uncomfortable the cat would have gotten up. They do have minds of their own, you know. If the cat did not like it, the tail would me moving sharply from left to right and the ears would have been flattened. Also, he would have been scratching at the owners hand and trying to bite.

you are the meanest pet owner EVER. cats hate that.thats why hes spreading his legs out-hes in PAIN!you should not be allowed within 5000000000 ft of ANY animal for the rest of your life, and if you do you should be painfully shocked.
I have 4 (3 years old) cats and the hands-on time is very important to them and to me, too. It was great to be reminded of 'slowing down' in general and to approach/be approached by a cat. I have been learning a lot, not just about them but also about my self, through their responses. Thank you for posting the video!
I love massages and love to give them to my two cats. It's an every day thing that we look for forward to. The massage you gave to the cat was super! I really liked your technique, mine is similar. :)
my cat never does this

I don't really think he liked it. If he did, he'd have fallen asleep and wouldn't try to get up. Don't you think so?

lulz, though if the catty was uncomfortable, it would scratch the person's face off. Tail wagging does indicated discomfort though.

The cat really enjoyed the massage! They say that petting a cat can lower blood pressure in both humans and cats. That is so relaxing to watch.

Yeah. Because obese animals are healthy.
In the wild, your cat would be the first to die.

Mine won't relax like this. How do you start massaging your cat? I'd love to give my babies some extra activity like this.
