If anyone still intrested, I got akuma unlocked by getting only one perfect without using any ulta combo finshes "I suck on that" play with the easiest mode, 1 round matches, and played with Ken

On ryu the special combo is

down+right down+right +punch

and the ultra combu is

down+right down+right +punch +punch +punch

well when ever i try to do my ultra it always ends up doing my special combo

it's a Double hadoken motion (Quarter circle Down to forward 2x) for both. The difference is that you need to press only ONE punch button for the Super and ALL 3 for the Ultra. Also, make sure your revenge gauge is at least 50 per cent, although I'd reccomend that it's virtually full.

It really doesn't matter who you pick, as long as you've already finished the game with that character before and you're REALLY good with that character (In my case, i'd pick Sagat, Ryu or Ken)

You need to have unlocked Cammy, Fei Long, Dan, Sakura, Gen and Rose and defeated the game with every one you have at this point, and THEN again with a favourite of yours with the conditions.

Am I getting this right?:

First of all, you need to have unlocked all the unlockable characters save Akuma (duh!), Sheng Long and Seth. Secondly, defeat the game with ALL the characters you have as of this point and Third. Defeat the game with a character you're REALLY good at and have already beaten the game with and finish it again (you need-- assuming it's 1-round, 99 second and on the easiest setting) to do 1 Perfect and 1 Ultra finish and at most 2 of each but NO MORE and defeat Seth.

I got 1 or more perfects. 1 ultra combo. Never lost a round throughout the whole game. Beat seth with no loss rounds and still did NOT get akuma to show :/ wtf

when you get hit, a meter will full up, this is the altra combo meter. each caracter does it different and you can see them in training, but do chalenge since you'll know when do it right.
