I'm a proud owner of a 12 inch version of this song on vinyl, love the whole song but the last minute is just incredible, one of the greatest examples of real funk ever. Sad to hear of the recent death of Marvin, the Isley Brothers are one of the greatest soul/funk outfits of all time. I'm a white guy, nearly 60 now, but not fat!!!

Here's what I remember about this album, the A songs were released in a reverse order. Showdown was good, Take me to the next phase was better, Groove with you was tough and Coolin' me out an undercover classic. Best Isley album ever and that says alot because the Isleys are the BEST GROUP OF ALL TIME, PERIOD! An Isley has been producing music thru six decades. THAT'S SICK!!!

I was very disappointed when the "Summer Breeze" dvd didn,t include any archive footage of the 70s lineup. I have the live "Soul Train" show but want more live stuff. Somebody please help!
