  • @BFCSkylar too bad he number 1 reciever for greenbay this year ya boy

  • whats the song?

  • Best No. 3 WR in the NFL.

  • @eskyguard to bad he is a number four receiver.. Statistically, last year Jennings was #1, Jones #2, Driver #3, and Nelson #4... Depth chart wise however It went Jennings 1, Driver 2, Jones 3, Nelson 4.

  • i honestly think he should have gotten the super bowl mvp

  • Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Jones! Aaron Rodgers is living large.

  • If Rodgers had just a little more protection,Packers offense would make Saints offense look like a bunch of senior citizens.

  • This guy is my cousin. He's from a small town called Riley, KS. He's actually a really down to earth person.

  • Comment removed

  • he is goin to be a stud this yr i guarentee it

  • nelson is going to be a beast in about 2-3 years when driver retires and he takes the

    no.2 reciever slot.

  • I want to attend Kansas State baaad. I use to love watching them play football and running around on the field. Now i live in texas tho but im tryna get a scholarship there. Ima bout 6'2, bench about 230 and weigh about 200. I ran a 4.9 but i had a torn miniscus.I play DE/TE and idk how ill hold up in college. Im a junoir in high school and im getting faster and stronger cuz im recovering from a surgury, any one got some good advice?

  • white boy got skillz.

  • This guy is awesome!!

  • OMG JORDY IS BOMB!!!!!! his one of my wr heroes of the modern day. I have confidence you will have a explosive impact on the packers

  • Congrats on your first NFL TD Jordy!

  • jordy nelson is the man

  • to bad he is gonna be bust worst draft pick ever worst then Ryan leaf

  • no one will ever worst than ryan leaf. what pick was nelson? right not #2 overall. sounds like you don't know football.

  • it appears that you are not familiar with the English language as u make no sense. He still is a bad pick he will never be anything

  • well all i have to say is he's already more than you

  • Dude Jordy made it on to the field for the WR strong Packers and dropped one pass all season.

Once Driver's gone Jordy's gonna be their new #2 and he's gonna dominate.

He's big, he's tall, he's fast, and he has hands like glue.

He's the perfect WR you idiot.

  • Green Bay is gonna romp this year. the NFL's youngest team and loaded with weapons and Jordy is one of them. Aaron Rodgers gonna make a statement on Monday night football against cincy.

  • k-state will miss u

  • kinda reminds me of a taller wes welker yeah??

    naw

    but hes still good though

  • thats exactly what i thought he reminds me of him alot.

pack will win the super bowl this year with or with out favre (preferably with)

  • Jordy Nelson + Packers = Superbowl Ring

  • who gives hes the best and you nerds just need to shut up

  • amen dude. who gives a crap!!! jordy nelsons really fast PERIOD

  • ummm lol y u guys making such a big deal out of speed vs quickness cause everyone knows what speed and quickness is u dont need formulas speed i judge is how fast u can run in a straight line quickness is how fast u can stop and go and turn around some people are speed(fast) so they do sports like track some people are quick so they do running back football to dodge people and if u ask me its better to be quick then fast cause even if people are faster then u, u can juke them and ruin ther speed

  • mr. physics, time is a pretty important part of velocity as well. velocity is the RATE of change of position. a car's velocity is measured in miles per WHAT? so if we talk about speed in another task, it is the rate at which one performs the task. we could say dishes/minute, or beers/hour, etc. dont be stubborn. you know what is meant by football speed, which i already said can't be quantified because it is not a simple task like washing dishes. there are far too many factors to measure.

  • i only used welker, because that was the example you used first. jerry rice obviously would be the best example illustrating my point.

citing wikipedia is not valid in any sense but listening to you is?

i think ronnie lott knows a bit more about football than either of us. of course, jerry rice didn't literally run faster on sundays than his 40 time, but he played football at a faster pace than everyone else, which made him seem faster than everyone else......great football speed.

  • I found this on Wikipedia:

Jerry Rice reportedly ran a 4.7 second 40-yard dash (regarded as a mediocre figures for a wide receiver). He went on to play in 13 Pro Bowls, win 3 Super Bowls, and break numerous NFL receiving records NFL records. Said former teammate Ronnie Lott, "Jerry may have been a 4.6 or a 4.7, but he was a 4.2 on Sundays." Rice was also generally noted for being able to run as fast a 40-yard dash under the weight of heavy NFL padding as he could in track gear.

  • You obviously fail to see the point. And yes I'm familiar with that quote, no it doesn't really mean anything and citing wikipedia isn't very valid in any sense. Regardless, my point is Wes Welker isn't fast he's quick there's a difference. He doesn't have "football speed" he has football quickness that's what makes him effective not speed. Speed shouldn't be mentioned in there only quickness.

  • Oh, and just so you know, quickness is a type of SPEED as well. look it up in the dictionary if you need to.

  • quickness = acceleration

the definition of acceleration would be how quickly you get to top speed.

    speed = maximum velocity

i take it you didn't take physics in high school/college

speed and quickness are two completely separate things.

    v = v + at

  • do you speak english? since when does quickness mean acceleration?

    Quickness:

    1. done, proceeding, or occurring with promptness or rapidity, as an action, process, etc.; prompt; immediate: a quick response.

    2. that is over or completed within a short interval of time: a quick shower.

    3. moving, or able to move, with speed: a quick fox; a quick train.

    4. swift or rapid, as motion: a quick flick of the wrist.

    7. acting with swiftness or rapidity: a quick worker.

  • just to help you out, since it seems you have trouble with the language, "swiftness" and "rapidity" are also synonymous with speed.

this discussion is pointless, because i was never talking about just "speed." this whole time, i have been talking about "football speed," a term which coaches, gm's, and analysts all use, which includes quickness and acceleration, along with other qualities. THE TYPE OF SPEED THAT IS USED IN FOOTBALL GAMES! you're either really dumb or really stubborn.

  • speed is a single force not multiple. and in terms of football context when you say someone's quick you usually refer to their acceleration and COD.

There's no such thing as TYPE OF SPEED. That doesn't make any sense. Speed is one force.

  • im not even going to bother arguing with you any more. i just know that coaches, gm's, players, analysts refer to football speed all the time. science can't always explain everything in this world.

  • Yup you know that and all I know is velocity is one force. Just like acceleration is a single force. And I've never heard of different types of velocity or different types of acceleration. You don't describe a players different types of agility either or anything like that.

If you didn't get my point I repeated it like 20 times that the premise behind the term "football speed" is wrong. That's all I was getting at.

  • the word "speed" can be used to describe things other than velocity. you can talk about the "speed" at which someone does the dishes, chugs a beer, or eats their dinner, and so on. "football speed," a term widely used by coaches, gm's, and analysts, refers to the pace at which a player plays the game of football at. football speed, is a combination of running speed, acceleration, cod, cutting ability, agility, understanding of the game, and mental processing, which makes it hard to quantify.

  • Well it depends on the context usually when you're talking about a moving object w/ measurable force like a person, you refer to speed as velocity. Just like there are other measurable forces: acceleration, distance, etc.

When you talk about someone doing something rapidly there's nothing to measure except time. If someone washes the dishes fast it refers to the amount of time not speed. Regardless a person is a moving object w/ measurable forces. So speed would refer to velocity.

  • Of course Stallworth is faster than Wes Welker. I never once said otherwise.

  • There's a difference between track fast and football fast. Just because you are track fast doesn't necessarily mean you are football fast and vice versa. Jordy is definitely football fast. I remember the knock on Greg Jennings when he came out was his slow 40 time, but how many times did we see him running past defenders last year? It's scary to think that Jordy is only our #4 WR. I feel sorry for defenses that are going to have to match up with our 4 and 5 WR sets. Go Pack Go!

  • 4 sure! pack2superbowl!

  • haha for sure man, Go Pack Go!!

  • most really fast track guys tend to be really fast football guys just think deion sanders, bo jackson, devin hester, chris johnson, reggie bush, ted ginn, randy moss, herschel walker, johnny lam jones, andre davis, the list is pretty much endless...

  • deion, bo, hester, and moss, those are the all-time greats. They could translate their speed to the football field, but not all do. reggie bush? He averages 3.7 per run and has yet to break a run more than 22 yds. My point is that while speed is important, there's more to being a great football player than a 40 time. just think michael bennett, bethel johnson, donte stallworth, troy williamson, mike mamula, ashley lelie, matt jones, chad jackson the list is pretty much endless...

  • Obviously. I never commented on greatness or effectiveness as a player all i said was fast track guys tend to be fast football guys. Just because Bush avgs 3.7 per carry doesn't mean he's slow or slower then say Jamal Lewis that had 4.4ypc. Bush is still one of the faster players in the league regardless of ypc. All I'm saying is if you tend to be at that elite level on the track your speed is usually superior as well on the field but it definitely doesn't make you good.

  • My point is that the your claim that "just because your track fast doesn't mean your football fast" is not completely legitimate. Your evidence to that statement is some guys that are "track fast" aren't that effective, which is why your brought up Bush. My point is there's more to being football fast then how effective you are on the field. Reggie might not be effective but he still has plenty football speed. Would he have outrun the entire bears defense in the '05 NFC Champ game if he didn't?

  • The guys you named although they might not be the greatest players, are still among the faster players in the league on or off the field. Track and football speed is pretty consistent with each other. I will admit though that the 40 yard dash is a deceiving race in terms of speed (football or track) because of the distance. J-Nelson ran a low 4.5 at the NFL combine but still has track speed. Despite his 40, he was a very accomplished hs sprinter and he was a state champ in the 100, 200, & 400.

  • What do you suppose a coach or GM means when he describes a player as "playing faster than he times?"

  • I understand the phrase. The premises behind it is misleading because your maximum velocity is pretty much unchangable your body is only capable of a certain maximum speed. No one in actuality "plays faster". There are certain things that make a player appear faster or make a player more effective, like a quicker turnover or agility or better acceleration. But there speed isn't the effected it's those other specific things.

  • For example, many ppl would fallaciously say Wes Welker "plays faster" because he was timed at a 4.6 but he "appears" faster. Wes Welker is a very shifty player that has an extremely quick turnover which provides the illusion he might play faster. But if you were to time him in a 40 yd straight-away during a play on the field he'd still never surpass his 4.6 in a linear 40 yard stretch.

  • Thank you for defining "football speed" for me. Wes Welker, bad track speed, good football speed. You just proved my point.

  • No I didn't prove you're point. The whole point is there's no such thing as "football speed". Speed is how fast you cover one point in a linear motion. Wes Welker doesn't get any faster on a football field then he does when he's running the 40. I used Wes Welker on purpose because it's a common MISCONCEPTION.

  • Thanks for defining "speed" for me.

By "football speed" I mean speed that translates to a game of you know, football, which usually doesn't involve running in a straight line for 40 yards untouched.

  • Obviously Welker doesnt run faster on a football field than he does a track. Welker plays the game of football at a faster "speed" than say Donte Stallworth because he has those other qualities that you mentioned earlier. Welker will never beat Stallworth in a straight footrace, but he gets more separation and makes people miss more because he has better "football speed."

Stop arguing, you know exactly what I mean.

  • Wes Welker gets more separation then Donte Stallworth? i disagree

and you have to realize what speed is. Donte Stallworth will always be faster then Wes Welker no matter what.

  • Unless of course there are people capable of breaking the laws of physics.

  • hey thanks bro

  • im sure he's good but the packers should not have picked him we already the best recieving core in the NFL

  • I see what your saying but Driver getting up there and this kid is perfect fit he also get extra yards after the catch something that all are recievers work hard for this is going to be a great pick

  • Jordy Nelson is a beast, he gonna be the next best thing. I just wish my Titans would have selected him with our first round pick.

  • amazing kid has great d nice hands and has great cutback

  • incredibly fast for a white kid, like Eric Crouch

  • Youd be surprised how many white kids are fast. Friend of mine is playing WR in Div.2 runs a 4.4 at 6ft 3 and can deadlift 420 pounds. All he does is work out and sprint all day long! But Div. 1 teams prefer recruiting black guys, so he plays Div 3.

  • That's not true they don't prefer giving scholarships to anyone. This kid at my high school was white and he played RB and he got scholarship offers from every Pac-10 school and a bunch of other D-1 schools. His names Toby Gerhart and he goes to Stanford now. Fact is they give scholarships to whoever they they think has the most talent. And just because your friend is fast and tall doesn't make him a good receiver.

  • the problems this kid gave us in HS were incredible, hell of an athlete

  • dude i love this kid!

thank god he on the packers!

we need a new addition 2 the fab 5 sence koren robinson left us

  • A Rods hungry.

and Jordy's gonna be used a little creatively, I bet!

    Watch out!

You could see it in A Rods interview when asked about his game against the boys.

  • he reminds me of me

  • it's a number 1!!

  • Yeah he might not be listed as a starter but when you use a 5 wr set as much as the Packers do he's gonna get his chance to make a difference right away.

  • the 4th WR isn't "starting"

  • Looks like Jordy Nelson will be starting, since K-Rob got released. He'll be the #4 receiver

  • I see a lot of you people still make a big deal about the 40 times. 40 times mean NOTHING! Its about game speed and that has nothing to do with how you time out at the combine a lot of players play a hell of a lot faster than what they show in a 40 yard dash. And Jennings didn't run a 4.35 he ran a 4.52 going into the draft, anyone wanna tell me hes slow? Maybe you could go ask Dre Bly if he thinks hes slow. And James Jones can burn Champ Bailey, so I wouldn't call him slow either.

  • Yeah I know what you mean, but if Favre did come back, they would have a great chance at the Super Bowl.

  • All we need it Brett Favre to come back, and we are going to the Super Bowl!

  • forget about Brett Favre man :P. Move on. To be honest... I dont really want Favre to come back after all this. I wanna give Rodgers a shot and I think he can get the job done. Lets let the young players show their stuff.

  • i think he'll be good for the packers only thing is he runs a 4.5 40 which might be good for college but is slow compared to gennings 4.35 or whatever he runs. I think jordy will turn out to be like a slightly slower and smaller version of james jones this year but has a lot of potential for the future

  • 4.5? try a 4.3 40 yard time. He'll do just fine against NFL corners. It's not just the speed, it's his route running. He's a very smart player.

  • He looks great. Welcome to the packers :D

  • I cant wait to see him play with the Packers.

  • i know that Jordy is a great player personally. For those who think otherwise just wait and see. When you find out just remember I told you so.

  • i honestly dont know y he wasnt picked up earlier in the draft...hes beast...walk on safety then a couple of years later turns into and amazing wr...he has a bright future...also he burned aqib talib a guy picked earlier in the draft than him.

  • mayock also had brandon flowers as the top cb in the draft.........

jordy will be a great fit for the packers and do not be surprised at all if he ends up being the best wr from this class.

  • Wildcat4life, almost no draft experts, including Mayock or Kiper had Jordy Nelson in the second round. It was a surprise to everyone to seem him picked so high.

  • false, if you watch the nfl network they had jordy as the 5th best wide reciever and said they would not besuprised if this kid was " a late first to mid 2nd round pick".

  • I like how you said false, you watch the office much do ya

  • thanks, actually no i hate the office. i know, i know crazy but i think that show sucks.

  • GREEN BAY PACKER right here...im confident in rodgers after seeing him play against dallas so i dont think the packers will have too much of a QB problem

  • he is goin to be good on the packers... that is if the QB can through

  • Welcome to Green Bay

  • make no mistake i think hes a really good player, and he will be a really good fit with the packers, but he would have been a fantastic pick later in the draft. I feel the packers missed out on drafting a real impact guy 36th overall then adding nelson later in the draft, from what i herd going in i dont think his stock was overly popular and im pretty sure he could have been around when the packers picked at 56

  • If you think Jordy was going to be at 56 this is why your a fan and not a draft expert. All the coaches saw something great in JN. James Franklin our OC last year came from Green Bay and used Jordy in that Green Bay style offense. Hence maybe why Green Bay liked him so much. Jordy would have been gone in the next 10 picks. 4 WR went the next 8 picks. Indy was interested, Cincy, buffalo. Also Jordy is used to playing in cold weather as well. Sweed played in hot@ss texas. Not a good fit for GB.

  • "stop focusing so much on combine results and the typical wideout numbers. the kid plays fast. he moves well in pads. he MAKES PLAYS." Amen and bravo, Stannley and intheburgh3.

  • <3 Jordy

  • ted thompson has as good of a track record of drafting first day wr's of anyone out there. jennings, jones, and terrence murphy looked very promising before he hurt his neck. i'm calling it now, but jordy may be the best of the bunch in a few years.

  • This is not an "under the radar talent." He was a consensus 1st Team All-American. He had the best hands of anyone in the draft, great size, great work ethic, good speed (even better "football speed" actually out on the field), and great character. It's rare to find a WR who isn't a bitch and doesn't just care about money and being on TV. This guy just wants to play football. A linebacker mentality in a WR, very rare. Great pick for the Pack

  • hes a great kid, a hard worker, and one hell of a talent. one on one with aqib talib comes to mind.

stop focusing so much on combine results and the typical wideout numbers. the kid plays fast. he moves well in pads. he MAKES PLAYS. you dont see any of that in the combine.

watch some of the senior bowl practices, and give the guy a chance.

I'm a huge packer fan along with a ksu fan, so this is spectacular for me lol. props to ted thompson and the packer staff, i think we'll get our pick's worth.

  • The People's Champ!!

  • While this is not a sexy pick at all, TT has had a great history of finding under the radar talent in the second round. Greg Jennings, James Jones, and Nick Collins all come to mind. Here's to hoping the new crop of Pack 2nd rounders yield similar results.

  • I think Ted made a good choice. I don't think they needed another WR so early in the draft more like a CB but he will only add to the Pack WR's .

  • To bad the Packers can't draft Generl Managers....Fuck Ted Thompson...Justin Harrell in 07...Jordy Nelson? in 08 and then trade all your picks...man if you want Aaron Rodgers to be a franchise QB get some decent players and weapons...what happens if Ryan Grant gets injured? then we are really screwed...PACK GET A REAL GM

  • hahaha you're a fool

  • How can you knock Ted Thompson!! He has resurrected the Packers from nowhere land after the experiment with Mike Sherman as GM. Think depth, this the NFL for god's sake. I'm a woman and I can see that.

  • WOO HOO...packers got em!

  • I just sure hope this is a decent pick..Packer fans sure have a major gripe about this pick. From what I have seen of Jordy, he looks like a hell of a player! Let's hope so.

  • Donnie Avery the first wideout taken put up almost similar stats as Nelson, and he ran a 4.34 had perfect workout numbers and he still went in the 2nd round so obviously it's not a race thing stop being ignorant.

  • haha I love the stiff arm he puts on the ref at 2:09

  • He Looks Most Like a Big Donald Driver or Reggie Wayne, not much of a jumper but huge YAC and open field ability.

  • Ted Thompson and the Green Bay Packers made a good pick with Jordy Nelson.

  • i think he definitely looks more impressive than sweed or kelly. he's just embarassing some of these corners.

ted thompson has taken a wr in the 2nd or 3rd round of every draft, and he has hit on every one of them, other than terrence murphy who was injured, but also seemed very promising before the injury.

  • everyone rookie looks good in college. just have to wait and see how well he plays against top corners not your fresh and soph college db.

  • Congrats Packers. You've got yourselves one hell of a football player.

  • Dude @ :42 pretty much speaks for itself.

  • He looks like Larry Fitzgerald to me. With less leaping ability.

  • He looks like he has awesome game speed, why would you want to put him at TE. I am glad we picked Jordy Rice

  • was wonderin why we didn't pick one of the top wr's in the draft, but after doin a lil research im feelin really good bout this one.. cant wait to see how this guy pans out, seems like a potential ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know how he only ran a 4.51, he looks much faster than that on the field, I suppose some guys stay fast in pads while most slow down a bit.

It looks like the guy has great hands as well.

I can't believe the Pack took a WR, but I really like what I see here

    Go Pack

  • I was thinking that they could use Jordy Nelson as a WR/TE hybrid like a Jason Witten. He definintley has the speed, but maybe could gain a little weight.

  • great pick for the pack

    GO PACKERS!!!

  • Great pick for the Packers. It caught me off guard at first but thinking about players available, why not take Jordy. He will fit the Packers system well with being a great possession reciever and moves after the catch. Also will help in KR and PR. Donald's days are numbered so he could be part of the future. Jennings,Jones,Nelson.

  • I'm not sold on him yet. But I wish him the best. Let's go Pack!

  • wow.....we already have the best WR core in the entire league so y pic this guy.....AND HES WHITE! no white guy is ever that good at WR

  • Wes Welker?

  • bigger faster stronger...braylon edwards?

  • nothing like Wes Welker. Jesus, not all white players are similar. Good god.

  • agreed he doesn't remind me anything of wes welker. He's way bigger 6'3 and i would say he isn't as quick cause he's not 5'9 but he's way faster.

  • from the video it looks like nelson is good at getting YAC... greenbay lead the nfl in that catagory last yr and its a big part of their passing offense, so they need guys like this...great pick!

  • WOW.....this is the type of receiver that Favre deserved 10 YEARS ago. I say put him in the weight room with Hawk and let this guy go psycho on the field!!!

  • Welcome to Green Bay dude!!

  • Go Pack! Welcome to the PackerBackers Jordy!

  • Now we got Brian Brohm (QB, Louisville), sorry A Rod, and Jordy! Might not have Favre but a Brohm-Nelson duo might just be the thing to cut the cheese in Wisconsin. I know...bad pun! Im so stoked about Nelson coming to GB!

  • Damn I wish Brett was still here to thro to this kid! Our WR core is killer already...add Jordy...DEADLY! Welcome to Green Bay football kid! Legend status is yours to grab here! Just ask Brett! I believe!

  • what great pick up for the packers. he's going to fit in well with Aaron Rodgers.

  • Welcome to the Packers! I hope you like cheese

  • Mike McCarthy called a while ago and said he would pick Jordy Nelson.

  • Welcome to the Packers Jordy

  • what a terrible pick, i wanted Sweed or Jackson!

  • You're dumb.

  • why would you want sweed i dont get this. sweed didnt even play half of his senior year and doesnt even have the same type of numbers nelson has. also nelson had to work with a less talented team then texas. give me a good solid reason to why sweed is a better WR? give me stats something good facts. guarantee you come up empty.

  • since when did numbers mean everything? Sweed was the number one rated WR in the draft before he got hurt. If numbers meant everything then there would have been a lot of busts.

  • naw the white boy can fly... and no more racist shit he was the third reciever takin .. i wish philly would of got him

  • The Packers just drafted him. Interesting.

  • Hope he's a future Buffalo Bill. Get him in the 2nd and 3rd tomorrow (what hes projected) i'd be really happy.

  • This kid is a steal... he has great hands and he ran around a 10.5 100 meter in high school so he has everything needed to become a good reciever

  • the SeaHawks take him in the first round at pick 25.

  • I meant to say Jordy has only been playing WR for 3 years in his entire life and he was injured the year before this one=upside. He is pretty fast for an NFL WR, he has a good burst, great hands, is quite agile, adjusts to the ball well and is fearless. He has to polish up his route running a bit. He is a 1st round talent that will go in the 2nd round. He is good not great at every part of his game, even his route running (his weakness) is above average. The Bills should take him at #41!

  • This guy will be a steal for some team in the 2nd round. I personally think he is the 2nd best WR after Devin Thomas. All the other guys projected to go in the 1st have a major flaw in their games somewhere.

  • Not fast enough, get the hell out of here. Look at the vid dumbasses. The average speed at this yrs. NFL combine for WRs was 4.58 electronic timed. Jordy ran a 4.49, that is pretty fast. Your average "NFL starter" runs about a 4.5. But Jordy ran a blazing 1.50 10 yard the same time as McFadden. Jordy has a great burst, adjusts to the ball well and is fearless going after the ball. He is quick, but still has to polish up his route running a bit. He's only played WR for 4 yrs. in his entire life!

  • Skins need to pick this guy up in the 3rd. Don't waste out 21st pick on anytihng other than linemen.

  • how did he do in the gualet at the combine didint he drop some passes

  • He didnt drop a ball the whole combine on tv

  • well he definatley got his respect he was what the second or third reciever chosen .. and he deserved it..the guy ran by the best corners in college at 6'3 220 pounds..thats a bad white boy

  • The Bengals will grab him in the 4-5th round. He would look good snagging some of Palmers bombs.

  • hmmm lets see, the guy is 6'3 220lbs, runs a sub 4.5 40, has everything you want in a receiver and the production to go with it. someone explain to me how he is not a top 5 pick, just like braylen edwards, andre johnson, or larry fitzgerald.....oh yea!!! im sorry, the are all superior BLACK athletes! You cant put a white receiver in the same breath as those guys, lol i guess the nfl personal depts and scouts prefer to jerk off to overrated black players.

  • Maybe because all of those guys were the best wide receivers coming out when they did. You make out Jordy Nelson this complete wideout so you can pull out your "caste system" bullshit. You want to know why they went higher, Edwards and Fitzgerald both won the Biletnekoff, for best wideout, something Nelson doesn't have. Nelson also ran a 4.51 at the combine, both Edwards and Johnson ran 4.40. Andre Johnson was a freak compare his 10.23 100m to Nelson's 10.63, BIG difference in speed.

  • Jordy Nelson wasn't even the best wideout in college football this year, Michael Crabtree undeniably showed that. Fitzgerald, Edwards, and Johnson were all at the top coming out. And Nelson missed practically his entire junior season that possess durability questions. Add that in with recent top 5 wideouts not working out (Mike Williams, Calvin Johnson) and there was no way anyone in this draft class, including Jordy Nelson was going top 10.

  • he doesnt look like a normal white guy! look at him move! look at his glutes!

  • no team will draft him in the 2nd round. hes not fast enough. hes projected 3rd into 4th. the eagles r looking at him
