im actually a clarinetest, but all my friends play trumpet, and i really think u r better than them. but heres a few tips. dont puff ur cheecks, practice playing lagato, and check breath marks. were playing this song in band right now and the clarinet part is hard. u are great and i hope 2 see u become a great trumpeter!:)

Not a Stard, It has the Amado Water keys and on the 3rd valve slide the ring is removable (on strads in permanent)

just remember to have a lot of air support, take bigger breaths than you think you need. having more air will help you stay in tune, especially on those high notes. :)

I play trombone too! I have a solo for this too, and the middle school band played this at a Boston competition...I was supposed to play D sharp and breathed during phrases...It was oh-so bad, but I'm getting better. :D

Good work kid! You have beautiful sound for a kid your age and size. From one trumpet to another, work on your posture, it'll help your tone a lot, and make sure you don't tighten your embouchure (lips) unnecessarily.
