The dog is poodle.. one of the most intelligent breeds, actually. I have a poodle cross, and she also tries to jump, usually when she sees another dog. You can't blame the owner.. unless it's happened before he had no reason to think it would happen on that day, and the majority of dogs do NOT attempt to jump out of moving vehicles. He will probably be more vigilant next time. And - the lucky dog appears to be okay, given that it was upright and walking away immediately after the incident. TG.
