I fill my freezer and enjoy it all year long. remember we usually have 6 guys on the boat and all eat fish after Fillet you get about 15+ lbs each give or take. I'v carried 40+ lbs home to Denver with me of Tuna

Pry open the mouth with your bare hands (to enjoy the feel of nature), then, reach in the sharks mouth, carefully resting your neck on his bottom jaw so you can reach into the throat to dislodge the hook and get your bait back. Works every time.

Mako sharks are "vulnerable" on the IUCN red list. This means that they are in danger of extinction, mostly due to overfishing, habitat loss and pollution. Catch and release is ok. Don't kill the shark.
