Ich finde bei allem Vmax Videos immer herrlich, wenn alle schreiben eh meiner rennt, eh der Bock von meinem Kumpel läuft schneller bei gleicher PS. Problem: Berg ab gilt aber nicht.

@TheTotallyFun wieso sollte es kein Kickdown gewesen sein? Ich denke es ist ziemlich gut zu erkennen wie spät er schaltet und wie hoch er dreht.

I have the same car. 1.8T 150PS Tiptronic. The car is slower than a manual one. However it's fast enough for a 2002 automatic. What you see in this video I can confirm: it hits 100km/h in 3rd not in 2nd like the manual. To all the "pilots" with 1.6 who wrote here I say: f.. off! Look when the guy starts the acceleration and use a chronometer: you will see he hits 100km/h in 8,9s , 120 in 11,25s.. I earn to see a 1.6 or an Mk3 GTI doing this.The car OFFICIALLY does 100km/h in 9,4s and 212km/h!

Mein Gott so ein Bullshit, 212 kmh is doch recht normal für 150 PS und Automatik. Und klar mit 179 PS fährt man 235, ein Golf 5 GTI mit 200 PS ist mit 235 eingetragen und schafft das mit Mühe und Not geradeaus. Was auf den Tachos steht bei bergabfahrt ist doch völlig irerlevant. Und ein kleiner Tipp für alle: Einfach in den Fahrzeugschein gucken, da steht die Endgeschwindigkeit und das fährt der dann auch.

@grischa1983 dann is dein tacho aber mächtig gezinkt... was aber im golf iwie standert ist wenn ich les das einer mit 179ps 235 schafft... dann zeigt der locker mal 15km/h zuviel (was aber eig normal ist bei der geschwindigkeit dem wagenalter entsprechend. Mein astra f zeigt 13 km/h zuviel weshalb der ja auch angeblich 210 packt mit 106ps aber bei 100 zeigt es 9 zuviel.

so wie die blamage von golf 6... laut adac test 14km/h zuviel angezeigt bei 100...

schaue mal meine videos an dann wird du es sehen wieviel ich im 2 gang geschafft habe und im 3 gang,und schaue das topspeed an,bin auch schon mit navi gefahren beim topspeed weicht der tacho um 11kmh ab,

die ersten 2 gänge sind ja viel zu kurz bei der tiptronic.. nen normaler 1.8t sollte die 100 schon packen im 2ten und mehr als 40 im 1ten o.O

I think the automatic gearbox has a slower top end, right? I had a similar Golf IV GT TDI also with 150Ps but the TDI still seems to have a better engine due to the torque of the diesel. The 0-45 in first gear is definitely impressive on the TDI compared with this, it just almost jumps towards 45 in a matter of 1 second. Good engines though, just depends on which you prefer, i took the TDI because i could get as low as 5 litres every 100Kms... My topend was 230Km/hr gps speed 6th gear manual.
