Well, i'm not sure if you're aware by now... suction tipped foam darts can't stick on velcro vests, hence the need to shoot them at a flat wall instead. :)

I have the nerf raider cs-35, but i dont think its really reliable because

1. jams way too much

2. fires at different ranges ( first shot 10 feet, next shot 25 feet)

but all in all its an amazing gun but i also want the belt blaster is it any good?

I don't quite understand how this gun works. Me and my friend have seen the vids and wanted to have a Nerf/dart gun war. We picked up 2 of these for us, but when we tested them out, they were crap. shots weren't leaving the belt housing, and when they did they went about 4 feet. We took them back to the store thinking we just got some defective ones. Turns out no, because the other two were crap too. same problem.

We ended up getting out money back and we got our sleves 2 Nerf Recons.

Well, the Belt Blaster had the highest ammo capacity when it was launched, 30 dart belt... until the Nerf Raider was released.

Now the Nerf Raider is avaliable with even more ammo capacity, the 35-dart drum magazine, and it features the slam-fire mode too.

In addition, the drum magazine is compatible across the N-Strike blaster range, so you might as well stick with your Recons and get the Raider instead. :)

I don't prefer automatics. They are shock weapons, and, in my experience, I used my magstrike to run people down, and pump em full of 10 darts. Honestly, This gun seems very reliable. Apart from the Hornet, I've never chosen automatics over a light, semi- automatic gun. This gun looks cool.

Dart Tag Vests are packaged with Nerf Dart Tag sets (ie. Furyfires, Stormfires, Hyperfires or Strikefires).

So far, i've seen other nerfers using them in a number of games and they seem to be holding up well.

Most Nerf foam darts can work with the Belt Blaster. In my test-fire video, you can see Nerf tagger darts being fired too.

Paint work choice is a personal preference, i guess you'd just have to plan out various colour combinations to find one that you like.

Since the Belt Blaster can use Nerf foam darts, you can try using Nerf tagger darts, then you can also play dart tag with it. :)

Its not designed to be compatible... but you could try some trimming and alignment on both the Vulcan ammo belt and Belt Blaster ammo hatch to see if it works.

Nope, the Belt Blaster cannot fire continuously by priming with the trigger held down. Every shot has to be individually triggered.

If you're looking for that feature, check out the Nerf Raider, that blaster has the "Slam-Fire" mode. :)

Yes, the shells are individually connected to each other by snap links. So you can connect up as many shells as you want to extend the belt.

The belt can also be looped too (as shown in the video).

Well, I've tested and you'd need quite a fair bit of modification to the shells to make them compatible.

Its alot easier just to buy the shell refill packs. :)
