This game will be ok at start, the more it evolves the better it will be. Look at WoW it is a very good and entertaining game in BC and now in Wotlk is also good and in Cata.. it will be insane from what we have seen. But that said look what WoW was at start in Alpha... it was totaly shit infact it looked even worse then this.... So yes this game is in Alpha and its epic but nothing that will last yu longer then a year... once it evolves it will kick ass !! BIG TIME!! I cant wait til release! :)

It doesn't matter who clones who and who not, since every time a new MMO gets there it's always a 'WoW clone'. Which is complete and utterly bullsh*t, since that's the same as comparing GTA IV to Saints Row 2. Everyone also stated that SR copied it from GTA, but they are two completely different game in the same genre.

First thing, EQ2 came out a few weeks BEFORE WoW.

Second thing, WoW ripped off most of its content from EQ1 and Ultima Online, polished it a bit, made it the most newbie friendly of all the MMOs, and combined all that with an already well-known game world.

This is just what SW: The Old Republic can do as well - after all, BioWare is the number one RPG-developer and Star Wars is perhaps the most known fantasy (scifi) world there is.

looks like they are fucking it up already, the clips they show are so bad and contradict what they are saying :( environment looks like rachet and clank or some bad kids game and the voices dont even sound like a star wars game more like some red neck shootem up. Blizzard should just make every mmo from now on since they seem to be the only ones that know how.

I think that people should reserve judgement about the game's graphics until they play it. I hated WoW's look until I played it. Being immersed in a game world is what its all about, if you feel like you are a part of what is going on then the game can be great. It seems that's what they are shooting for here.

I'm looking forward to this game alot, but there is still much to be known. What's the PVP like? What are the raids like? How is loot done? Etc, etc...

even if this game "Fails" it will still have players because its star wars. i played star wars galaxies because im a true star wars fan when hardly anybody did.. and the amount of content were seeing so far and its still has a long way to go. i dont think it will be a fail.Maybe at launch it will be buggy and people wont be patient about it.I dont like how people Over the top "badass" voices. like for example prototype,and i hope you can pick out of a selection of voices.

:S The mmo AoC is estimated just above 30 gigs in size, and like, 70% of it is audio. And the only shit that is voice acted in aoc is the first 20 levels. Image this! This game will be huge! and Almost all of it will be voice audio!

Well when you create a testlive client of AoC, the names of all the files that gets dublicated are shown. At it is a bunch of soundfiles.

Anyway... i still highly doubt you are right... Maybe the mayority of files are sounds, in the number of files... But that doesn't prove that they take up that much space...

Plus, the sounds are ussually in some random format and you wouldn't be able to tell that they are actually sounds...
