So many world wide recognised football icons have claimed Scholes to be the best player they've played against and to be the best midfielder of his generation. @MansourMessi Lol. I agree with esp1916. Scholes has the respect of every great midfielder of his time, and will still have the respect of midfielders for the next 20 years at least. Watching this video should give you an idea WHY he's never won the Ballon d'Or -since the award factors in points and so on, Scholes always loses a lot from his tackling, and THAT, my friend, is why he's never won it. Oh, and after the CLF Iniesta went straight to him after the final whistle to get his shirt.

Tbh that wasn't even that bad a tackle, we've seen far worse. Busquests is such a cunt. It'd be a lot easier to have respect for Barca if he didn't fall over when you look at him. Probably the biggest diver I've ever seen, and we've seen Ronaldo, Drogba, Torres etc.
