it might not be a biological alien, or an alien at all. i saw a tv spot where it was showing footage of some spire or something collapsing into (presumably) the particles shown near 0:26 while a guy was narrarting something about its "structure" and "failiure" and "escaping". it could be that the alien is a hive mind or swarm of all the little functional units exerting control on various objects.
0:15-0:17 Joe and Charles look at the footage of the train crash,i think they see the alien cuz charles says ''what the hell?'' or once their bout to see the alien,the film stops.Great tv spot,cant wait for this film!
