  • I am on my second Lexus. I had a is300 for 6 years and it was a great car. Now i have a 2008 is350 and it has all the Lexus luxury with beautiful interior. Plus it is a BEAST from 0-60. BMW is a nice car, but like buddy said....hope you have money to fix it. Just my thoughts.

  • I really want a lot of responses. I have enough money to buy either one but which one should i get?

  • @josornio300 It all depends... The BMW is pretty much better than the is350 in all performance aspects but of course buying a BMW is going to cost more money upfront and down the road, whereas the is350 is a great car that just so happens to do 0-60 in under 6 seconds. I would personally take the 3 series because I wouldn't care if it's in the shop too much because you buy BMWs for performance and luxury... Just a thought

  • @josornio300 Depends what you want if you want just performance the bmw is the way to go but with a few mods a IS 350 is running low 13s not bad at all.....the 335 is alot less reliable compared to the IS 350 so if you want something not in the shop alot lexus is the way to go.

  • IS350 is faster 0-60 and quarter mile than the 335i. much better interior I might add.

  • The Germans are nice to sit in, even nice to drive... But you have to be damn near rich to maintain one. I have personal exp.

  • i dont see the point of this race... i mean video

  • it would be funny if the HPFP failed on the 335i just before the launch

  • Lexus...!! =)

  • maybe put the lexus up against something it may be more equal to? A smart car? perhaps!

  • what were the times?

  • who won?

  • pssh my lexus 4.0 is at 165k and its more opened up than ever and haulss assssss

  • @adam2562 165k huh? i got a 540i 4.4l with almost 283k on da clock and it's seen north of 150+mph and gets there way quick, then again ive never smoked tires on purpose keep doin them burnouts with no LSD though you might need a new rear end to make it over 200k i know the 1UZ will outlast the car tho no matter how abusive you are... good job gettin a v8 not a lame ass v6 like is350s. a sedan without a v8 or bigger/no forced induction sux, dont care if its got 300=hp its got no low end...

  • @p8ntballer55 yea well that rear wont blow, thats a supra rear end with lsd :D

  • @p8ntballer55 i have the Supra rear end with LSD actually. :)

  • love toyota .

  • Lexus never brakes down! i love all Lexuses! high quality car, i had IS300 176k never had a problem with that baby! now im definitely getting new generation of IS

  • Fuel leaks 2006 thru 2009 include ls made in japan more toyota problems 1.7 million world wide issue again looks like toyota is in trouble, five plus years of hiding problems is catching up with toyota, serious quality issues

  • The is350 is not stock, I raced a is350 with my 335i and the the is350 was about 2 meters behind me...also check Edmunds or Car and Driver for their 1/4 mile

Times and 0-60mph times, the 335i wins in both cases

  • @brownpista1234 Probably a drivers race, would be my guess. The IS350 is super easy to drag race and you don't have to have a lot of skill to drive one. I think the 335i would win, ultimately, but the IS excels at getting out of the hole as long as VDIM is off and you have good tires :-) There aren't really very many aftermarket go-fast parts for the Lexus, and what is out there doesn't make that big of a difference.

  • Ps the M3 compares to the RS4, not the S4. In Australia the RS4 and the M3 are the same price.

  • Sorry everyone, as per example I gave, I was referring to poor resale values of expensive cars relative to cheaper cars.. No digg at porsche, Merc, Lexus or BMW

  • مافي احسسن من البي ام

  • @4MATICbenz, rich people don't buy secondhand cars. That's a fact. Why do you think resale values on very expensive cars like BMW MERC LEXUS PORSCHE are so damn low? Same reason the used car prices on cheap little hatches like Toyota and Mazda 2 etc are so high relatively, that poor market can't afford to sell low

  • @Mailme81

So are you just spewing your opinion or the facts?

Because last time I checked Porsches are holding their resale value higher than most cars.

1980's Porsches are still going for over $20,000.

Might want to look into that!

  • @Mailme81 , i agree with most of what you said except for the part about Porsche and Lexus having poor resale vaues. That is totally untrue.

  • @Mailme81 your facts are incorrect. I suggest looking at Kelly blue book for highest resale value cars....Audi wins first, BMW has second....but don't trust me, look it up! Don't trust places like cars(dot) com, they mostly deal with toys and hondas...they are very biased as that is where there market is!

  • @dijhili lol european garbage, bmw, audi, benz etc, will spend more time in the shop than the road

  • @tdpit that is just a dumb comment. Check Kelly Blue book per my comment above child.

  • @dijhili i did, the book said "bmw, benz, audi etc, are garbage on wheels"

  • @tdpit I completely agree!!

  • @tdpit ROFLLLLLLLL oh shit you just made me roll

  • Thanks 4MATICbenz for finally resolving this debate. By looking at your screen name we could never guess which car you think is the best.

  • @Oblivionis79 , I know, i do such a great job hiding my bias, dont I? Just trying to be a mediator haha

  • @Oblivionis79 haha, that guy's an idiot, 4matic is the worst awd system to exist

  • BMW 335i is overrated as Hell and the IS350 is a boring Toyota with no soul or spirit whatsoever.

The Audi S4 embarasses both of these, and for less than the price of a 335i or IS350 you could buy a used C55 AMG that would also blow these two pieces of shit to the moon. So everyone below me can stop arguing about these two cars. They BOTH suck!

  • @4MATICbenz k you can't compare an S4 to an IS350 or a 335i because there not in the same class, S4 is equavalent to a M3 or IS-F both of which are beautiful to drive, all AMG's pull in a straight line, but thats about all...their handling feels like theres a dead horse tied to the back of the car, the 335i isn't overated it pretty underrated, no one expects anything from it but theres alot in it to offer, o btw BMW>Mercedes>Audi>Lexus

  • @W3STCOAST3R , S4 competes DIRECTLY with the IS350 an 335i. All three are the same size. All three are in the same price bracket. All offer 6cyl powerplants w/ similiar hp The S4 isnt/never was a competitor to the M3 or IS-F. The 420hp RS4 competes with those two.

And dude, how can you say the 335i is underrated? Was that a joke? Im not saying it doesnt live up to its expectations of a sports sedan. It does that very well. But it's still overly hyped. Especially on Car and Driver and Edmunds.

  • I dont understand why all the Beemer lovers/Lexus haters call the IS350 a bitchs car. I see more bitches driving a 3 series beemer than anything!! Give me a break.

  • @EddieD08857 , depends on the model. Both the IS250 and BMW 328i are 9 out of 10 times driven by a chick. I rarely see a woman driving a 335i or IS350, and I pretty much never see one driving an M3 or an IS-F.

  • LEXUS ALL DAY, I DONT GIVE A FUCK WAT ANYBODY SAY!!!

  • @NightSighs I like to think of it like a Porn Video, where the BMW is the angry German man, and the Lexus is the cute little Japanese girl

  • BMW > Toyota

  • 6MT G37S ftw

  • just chip the 335 and its game over for the lexus.

  • @jovalles just add turbo to lexus game is over for BMW forever

  • @rollinx101 "Pads were brand new obviously but the caliper was scraping the disc" You have no idea how a brake system on a car works, do you? Let me know what dealership you work at so I never go in there for service.

  • Comment removed

  • @rollinx101 Name calling? What are you 5? You drove a car with a detached caliper? Does your dealership inspect the cars at all?? And going back to your original comment, my IS350 must be an anomaly because it has 51K miles and it hasn't broken down yet.

  • Comment removed

  • @rollinx101 Well, in your original post you state that Lexus vehicles start to break down at 40K miles. Mine is at 51K and I know people with 100K+ miles that don't have any problems. So don't spread lies. If you like BMW or whatever else, that's fine... nothing wrong with that. No need to bash Lexus. BTW, "your" does not equal "you're".

  • Comment removed

  • @rollinx101, it's "grammar" not grammer you idiot....

  • Comment removed

  • @Oblivionis79 who said Lexus break down at 40k? LOL who is this rollinx101 kid LOL

  • @Oblivionis79 lol yeah.....I have a IS300 with 120k miles on it and that car runs just as well as it did when it came off the lot...

  • @rollinx101 Rollinx is ripping on Lexus, he drives a 80's lincoln on daytons. What a clown show you are bro. you dont deserve to clean my lexus when i bring it in for its required maintenance.

  • Comment removed

  • @rollinx101 Shit happens to any car even with best rated reliable companies. It's called a defect. It's called bad luck. You can't judge by just 1 car or even a few. I've know BMW that had nearly no major problems up to 100k plus miles. Of course how you drive it is also a major factor. Lexus reliability ranks almost always top 3 in any major car magazine or consumer reports. You want to tell the world you know more than the people that works in that field?

  • @rollinx101 I have an 04 is300 with 217k miles on it n still drives strong... u have no idea wat u talkin about. lexus outsells bmw 3 to 1 and benz 4 to 1. so u gonna tell me everyone that buys lexus is stupid? do ur home little boy.

  • @elquesevino Lexus = 1/4 mile. BMW = Nurburgring. Lexus = Is praised in the US, and US only. BMW = praised worldwide. Lexus = my grandfather likes them, just like he likes Accords and Camrys. BMW = young, wealthy and elegant people like them, just like they like Mercs, Audis, Ferraris and Porsches...

  • @richardbroder BMWs are the most unreliable pieces of shit ever. I'll have fun passing you in my Lexus on the freeway while your on a towing bed.

  • @richardbroder hahahaha you compare BMW to Ferrari and Porsche. BMW is the cheapest European export auto. How are they for the wealthy people? Elegant rich people drives Aston Martin or Rolls Royce. Young rich kids drive Porsche and Ferrari. Lexus, BMW, and MB are all on the same level world wide. M and AMG are different story. Your grandfather is obviously smarter and more practical than you. By the way MB and Porsche are some of the top dependable makers. How come BMW isn't?

  • @babymegatron There are 3 big mainstream luxury companies in the world, they are BMW, MB and Audi. Not Lexus. Lexus is Japanese, they look ugly, they have no style, they have Fast&Furios blue dashboards, they have no status, they have no racing pedigree, they have no history. Lexus is a company that only makes sucess in the USA, but then again, north americans are known for having bad taste and beeing unelegant, that´s why they like Nascar while the rest of world likes Formula 1.

  • @richardbroder High end Japanese cars are more successful than your "big 3" not just in North America, but also everywhere in Asia. Your big 3 are loses in ever category. BMW and Audi never made any practical supercars. Don't bring up R8 that's a joke when even the GTR can beat it. Luxury, are you sure they will match a Bentley or Aston? And sales... well just like you said and North American is the #1 purchase power in auto. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder you close minded fool.

  • @babymegatron No, they are not. In China (fastest growing economy) and pretty much all Arab nations European luxury cars are far more popular then Japanese luxury cars. BMW and Audi are not about supercars, you fool, they are about luxury 4-door cars, that´s where they excel and that´s where they are unbeaten. They don´t compete with Bentley, Aston is sport-focused, not luxury. For top-luxury you have RR (owned by BMW) and MB-Maybach, which are also the most luxurious cars available.

  • @richardbroder Retard, why would I even bother comparing them until you brought them up to compare in your past comments? What do you mean unbeaten? Performance? Sales? Resale value? Reliability? Safety? By the way you know China does not equal Asia, right?

  • @babymegatron You need to practice your memory, bud, you where the one that quoted Bentley and Aston 1st off in a conversation they never belonged. I just responded your stupid quote. About "unbeaten", I mean simply this: BMW is world leader in luxury sedan sales. No one sells more then they do. And no other luxury sedan has gained more prizes and awards then the 3-series, that´s FACT. And yes, I do know China does not equal Asia, just as you should know Japan does not equal Asia...

  • @babymegatron M and AMG are NOT different story. They have the same build quality, just more powerfull engines and brakes, sportier suspension. That only matters for men, though, since a regular girl will certainly not know the difference between a 335i Motorsport and a M3, your chances of making success with girls are the same. With the Lexus, though, you´re pretty much f'cked, since Lexus has no status at all, they look cheap in the side of a BMW, MB or Audi.

  • @richardbroder LOL! First of all I don't know what kind of girls you are into, but all the girls I know - can tell the difference between a M3 and 3. Maybe they don't get the difference of a V6 and a I6, but that's technical. So don't treat woman as if they don't know cars. You're a sad man. The woman you are into are the woman that is into your material and not you.

  • @babymegatron BS, I have gone out several times in a E93 335i (convertible) and it attracts much more women attention then a E90 M3. Sure, the M3 is better, but girls will never know that, at least good looking girls won´t... of course, a E92/93 M3 will attract more attention then a boring 320i E90 sedan, but a good-looking 3series will attract just as much attention as a M3. The universal law is that good looking girls don´t understand much about car specs, they only understand about car brands

  • @richardbroder oh here we go again, you and woman and car, but never just you and the woman. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Some girls like comfortable cars some girls like performance car. I've know girls that are into trucks and bikes. So just what are you trying to say? Universal Law? That's extremely narrow minded; something you crap out from your personal experience. Girls doesn't need to understand the specs, but they can sense when a car is in a better class.

  • @babymegatron Universal law is the capitalist law. Good looking girls are always after the most successful men, and that goes for a combination of factors. They want men with profit, professional success, but they also want him to be elegant, intelligent, and want men that transmit security. That starts with stuff like the kind of clothes you wear, the way you talk, the places you know, the place you live in and... obviously, what cars you drive.

  • And sure, you might think "some girls like cars, some like bikes, some like crocodiles". Just like most men would rather have a skinny girl with big boobs, big ass and a cute face, I´m sure there´s some guy in the world that would rather have a fat girl. Sure, there might be women in the world that would rather go out in a Ford F-150 then in a Ferrari, exceptions exist. Rule is, though, you´re better off in a Ferrari. Just like you´re better off in a BMW then in a Lexus...

  • @richardbroder I was readin your comments, and am agreeing with everything you said untill the part where being in a BMW is better than Lexus.

  • @snaggle1337 I´ve never said that Lexus are not good cars. I´m sure they are great cars from a technical point of view. I´m sure they run great in straight lines (which is what most of it´s owners want), and I´m sure they would even do good in cornering, although Lexus owners don´t understand much about cornering.. if they did they wouldn´t have bought a Lexus, but a BMW...

  • @richardbroder I love BMW, and I love Lexus I drove both, only owned a Lexus though, and let me tell you the handling isn't far apart at all, so I don't why your talking about Lexus doing straight lines and stuff because it is one better handling sport/luxury/sedans out there. It is right up there with the 3 series, C-Class, the A4's, G37, all these cars handle great. BMW is always going to be the favorite thats just the way it is because of its image and name, otherwise there is competition...

  • @ShowBusiness90 Sorry, I don´t know what you mean about "handling". You mentioned the C-Class... do you have any idea of how much better the 3-series is better in cornering when compared to a C-Class? If you don´t, then just see any video comparing a C63 to an M3 around a track, then, when you realize the M3 is actually 4-5 seconds faster round any avarage track, despite having a weaker engine, you will start understanding the true fundamentals behind the word "handling".

  • @ShowBusiness90 About the A4, great car, though plauged with understeering issues. Drives good around a track, but doesn´t feel good... any of these cars are way better then your avarage Ford Taurus or Volkswagen Jetta in terms of handling, but when compared to one another, BMW´s are the standard.

  • @richardbroder I can understand completely, I can agree with you, but Just because it is a standard doesn't mean others are too far off, I just don't like when people talk out of their ass not saying you are I just think that BMW everyday has more and more to compete against and people are realizing that, especially when cars cost less it always helps.

  • @ShowBusiness90 I never did think it like that. Where I live Audis outsell BMWs, MB comes in a distant 3rd place. With cars like the A3 and A4 2.0T, BMW has nothing able to compete against for the same price range, neither does MB. BMWs 325 are great sporty cars, but the engine is weak for the price and the car lacks luxury items. The A4 2.0T is cheaper, has more luxury and it's engine is actually stronger in a realistic basis. BMW might shine above the 335i, but is no big deal below that...

  • @richardbroder Audi are beautiful but i am never confident when it comes to VW/Audi might be 'cause of experience but newer ones look nice. At the end of the day with rules and laws on the road in most parts of the world you don't need a car that can handle a race track, so its hard to truly feel the handling on all the cars but its nice to have cars that can go on a track and be a daily driver all year long. Its good to know people out there understand, respect man.

  • @richardbroder

Please do not make a general statatement such as "Lexus owners don't understand much about cornering". My wife owns a Lexus GX470 and my daily driver is a Porsche 911. I am a Lexus owner and a Porsche owner and I can tell you I know about cars a lot more than you do.

  • @denalibandit The starting point is that if you really did understand about cars, you wouldn't have bought your wife a GX470, you would have bought her an X5/X6, a Q7 or a Cayenne... have fun with your 911 and be carefull with the excessive understeering (a problem you wouldn't have in a M3).

  • @richardbroder hell no dude gx470 is a badass fuckin suv fuckk all thoes bullshit european cars

  • @richardbroder Now for your reality check. M3 and 3 series are totally different. Not just bigger engine and more performance parts, but EVERYTHING starting from the blue print. M3 power train uses F1 technology. The engine is build with different metal, even when the same mineral but with different density. M production line is different from the rest of the BMW. Not to mention they use better mechanics and always get first selection of materials. AMG take things even more serious.

  • @babymegatron BS, they want you to believe that. M3 chasis is exactly the same as other 3-series chasis, it would be economically inefficient to produce M series in a production line of it´s own. I currently know close people that own an M3, build quality is the same, the cars tends to present similar issues that you find in regular 3-series models, and even some problems that are specific to the M3. M3 is basically a 3-series with bigger engine and brakes, sportier suspension, and that´s it.

  • @richardbroder First it's not what you hear it's something you can see. I'm not saying they have different build plant. A M production line can produce the M as well as the 3, but not the other way around. All BMW have similar problems; it's core design flaw in any engineering. How is it the same when the size, the weight placement, and everything else you say is different when they are just car with performance parts. I guess all I have to do is put a M3 tranny into a 335 and it'll just work.

  • @babymegatron You should learn more about how cars are designed and built. FYI, I´m currently building a VW Gol (a Golf in a smaller platform, with longitudinal engine), with a 2.0 Golf block engine, Audi 20v head, and a full Audi S2 transmission. Although my car is a FWD, conversion to AWD is pretty simple, as the different engine block, head and transmission are all perfectly compatible (same bolt setup) in between them and all of them fit perfectly in the chassis...

  • So basically, I´m building a car that has a engine block, head and transmission from 3 different cars and all of them with over a 10-year span in production time, from two different brands (VW and Audi), and they´re still fully compatible with each other, no adaptations or junkmods required. Then I have to listen someone telling me a BMW M3 as a totally different car from a 335i... hell yeah, totally different, give me a break, same f*cking car, different engine...

  • Last off, the 335, although disposing of different engine config from the M3, had a final performance so close to that of the M3 that BMW had do think in ways of increasing the nearly inexistent gap. The 335 with a simple ECU tune could outperform a M3, costing much less. BMW had to remove the twin-turbo in the N54´s successor, the single-turbo N55, in a attempt to increase the gap between the M3 and the 335, since it was way to easy to achieve M3 performance with a N54 335...

  • @babymegatron And yes, BMW, MB and Audi are on the same level as Porsche and Ferrari. I´ve already ridden a SL65 earlier this year and I can tell you, SL´s attract more attention from girls then 911´s. A Cayenne is not better then a X5 or a Q7. Ferrari has a stronger name because they are more expensive, but it doesn´t really matter, if you drive a white Audi R8 to the front of a night club, it will probably attract more attention from girls then a 458 Italia, since girls like R8´s looks better.

  • @richardbroder What the fuck is wrong with you. Don't insult women and cars. People get 911 because it's a classic, period! Only BM is on the same level as Porsche. Why, because they all excel in very specific areas they target. Only BM and Porsche make supercars. MB is one of the few F1 teams that build both their own chassis and engine. Porsche is the only company that is able to compete with Ferrari in every class. FYI Audi/Porsche owned VW Group. Seriously, leave women out of it.

  • @babymegatron You don´t need to talk to me as if I´m some stupid north american. FYI Audi is OWNED by VW, since VW is one of the largest (and arguably the best) automobile groups in history, Bugatti/Lambo are also owned by VW, in fact, the Veyron is a VW product. Porsche has a considerable number of VW´s shares, they also have alot of history together, that´s why they work so close. People in north america think Audi owns VW because Audi makes more expensive cars, lol, it´s the opposite...

  • @richardbroder VW Group as best auto maker is also by perspective. Some say Toyota others say Ford back then. Actually it's the other way around - VW Group owns most decision rights of Audi. Porsche is owned by multiple corps. but still holds it's own major shares and rights. VW works closely with them because back then they were owned by the same few grandpas. The European auto is very messy when it comes with ownership just look at FIAT.

  • @babymegatron European auto is not messy, the auto industry is. Think it´s different with Japan or EUA? Think again... VW is, in fact, very organized and works very well with unification, you´ll find Audi engines in VW and Lamborghini engines in Audi, and you´ll even find VW solutions in a Veyron, it was designed by VW engineers. Their multi-brand strategy is so well sought off and so polished they´ve gained enormous amounts of market in the past decades.

  • Of course, just as with many other things that are successful all around the world EXCEPT for the USA (like Soccer and Formula 1), people in the USA understand little about VW. They think VW resumes to Beetles, Golfs and Jettas, in fact, most people in North America think Audi owns VW, lol... VW and it´s sub-brands are among the most influential in any developing economy, and also in European nations. But, try to make americans understand anything, they´d rather watch NASCAR over F1, ahah...

  • @rollinx101 you are an absolute bullshitter

i have sold lexus cars and suv's for many years. they are still the highest quality rated luxury brand out there with over 94% customer satisfaction and about the same repeat clientele purchase rate. #1 in reliability years almost every year lexus has been around.

so, i think you made up your stupid ignorant comment to sell your foolish opinion!

i used to work at BMW, ha ha talk about lemons and strange gremlins with those cars.....

  • @rollinx101 DUDE ur crazy lol !!! you must be on some drugs

  • what kind of power band is good?

  • @teamgreenhustlin, good power band.

  • give me the 335i and i'll launch that 350 where it belongs.

  • lexus sux it's a POS TOYOTA with broken accelerator pedals... IS350 is included you faggots

  • @335iKing LOL. The 335i was made without an oil cooler (one of the hundred reasons why they break down all the time) and there are some 335i's that have gone through SEVEN HPFPs in under 50k. The 335i is poorly engineered. The IS350 is pure N/A balls. It doesn't need twin turbos. It beats the 335i every time with better engineering. Simple facts you cannot ignore.

  • @jbayse99, the newer model 335i's are equipped with the oil cooler so that's out the way. BMW's N53 engine is famous and built like tank.. HPFP issue is now gone because they fixed the issue with the 2010 model. 335i is engineered very best in the world... It has more torque delivery and is virtually linear... it's a supercar you LOL.

  • @335iKing Engineered the very best in the world. Hah, is that why all the turbos have to be replaced. Cant even get a waste gate right.

  • lexus rules

  • I had a 335 and liked it. im driving a IS350 now... and I like it better, its more comterable, and it might be faster.

  • Both are really good cars, I think the lexus gets the reliability nod over the 335i but 335i can be very quick for a $600 can't go wrong with either car I think.

  • ummm

  • BMW has more torque. you just can't beat the sheer power. The problems is many 335i owners fail to get traction during launch. it's got too much power and the tires aren't wide enough. Go do some roll races and the 335i will milk you all over the place. pAWned!!

  • Call me crazy but something tells me, mr 335iking, that you may be a bit bias..LOL. It also should be worth noting that the 335i is turbo-charged, while the Is350 is N/a.

  • Do u own a 335i? I have one, tires are R17 225 front, R17 255 Rear. It's the same as my IS350 R18 225 front, R18 255 Rear. 335i isn't hard to launch, but it does lag.

I honestly dunno which one is faster, i guess it really depends on the driver. Handling on 335i is a bit better though IMO.

  • The is350 is geared to be faster from a stop. The lexus is faster at everything up to about 60mph

  • @svukovic315, no it's not you dumb ass. IS350 is still faster to about 110. After that the 335i has the advantage and will pull on it. check your facts before posting you idiotz.....

  • @335iKing Im saying if they were to race from a roll of 60mph, the BMW would pull away slowly from the lexus. Dont call call me dumb with out a reason you little shit.

  • @svukovic315, no the 335i won't pull lexus from 60 you idiot. I have ran against it a number of times. the bmw will not pull on the is350 till about 110 mph or so. IS350 doesn't stop accelerating after 60 you tard....

  • @svukovic315, for example if you try racing in the city area where you won't be going more than 110 you can forget about beating the lex... that thing is quick. unfortunately speeding from 120~ 150 isn't feasible anyway unless it's some real long stretched highways with almost no cars. most places aren't like that you dumb ass.

  • @335iKing You didnt tell me a single thing that i didnt already know dumb ass. I want to buy an IS350

  • What was the speed in the 1/4 mile?

  • If I remember correctly I was at around 104 MPH. The BMW was a bit higher but he was too slow off the line to catch up in time.

  • Getting off the line is not all about the driver. It's about power band, traction, gearing, etc.

  • Yep, is350 has very strong gears, first two gears are just insanely strong so it doesn't even really need brake-torque launching to get up to speed quickly. some d00ds say it's good as low as 1000 rpm launching or maybe 1200 rpm at the most. is350 is perfect launch machine

  • Wrong.

  • Who won?

  • IS350

  • Yes!

  • what is this a fan boy site?

u sound like their leader or something lol

  • OWNED!

  • dubballin17, stop it. keep the g35 talk out of this. this video is about 335i vs is350, not g35. we know 335i whoops the crap out of the g35. now hush.

  • i can guarantee you that you are one of those people that have no experience on a track and base all your info on biased sites.you have no first hand exp or know the average speed of a stock car at all and your arguments are so pathetic. a IS 350 beats a BMW 335i and it has been proven countless number of times in a 0-60. it also beats the G35S. although i will say that i have yet to race an 08 g35s, they are heavy and do not run as fast as an IS 350. IS 350>BMW 335>G35 on a 0-60 straight.

  • Knowing you, you are prolly 17 judging by your nickname, which also shows for the stupidity in street racing that you partake in. You also were prolly too stupid to know whether the IS was a IS 300, IS 250, or IS 350. And just because you don't know anyone with a IS 350 doesn't mean much... Makes you seem less knowledgeable. Your arguments are so thoughtless and child-like. You probably got pure enjoyment from racing an IS 250, which is way slower than an IS 350. Go back to school kid.

  • actually im 19 lol but heyy thanks ive had this name for a while, and i know more about cars then you can imagine, i know the differences between the 3 and all 3 are horrible...it was def a is350, ive had is300s try to race me as well. Who the hell is dumb enough to buy an is250? and ontop of that go and tr
