I know loan officers like this as well. They are the ones taking my support staffs time with garbage loans never going to go anywhere. These guys should be gone soon enough, they just can't make it in this climate.

This is so so true.. I'm an underwriter and often ask how on earth did you get a license. It never fails for a LO to tell the borrower that they can close a noon today and they don't even have a CTC. More of these need to be made!

I cannot believe how truly accurate this is. I really thought I was crazy for years in this business when they would NOT GET IT. After reading all the comments I am cracking up laughing at how many of us have the exact same things going on in our offices. This is the most refreshing truth I have seen in years. It must be that that line of work (LOS) is just a certain personality that is lazier than most or something because it is too prevelant to be a coincidence...Right???

@mikeydook and yet it does not stop the LOs from making promises.. for example i have a purchase closing that was supposed to start at 11am EST its now 2:15pm and I am still waiting for closing docs!! all becuase the LO said its OK to schedule you will have docs 100% and now they are scrambeling to get it done!! I am gettign yelled at by the attorney for the buyer and the LO is not picking up his phone. just one of many stories.
