  • god they srsly need to redo the movie, it's an insult to this epic show >:/

  • The music for this show is absolutely beautiful. I just hope the music for the Legend of Korra is just as good. Though if they use the same music again, I wouldn't mind all too much :3

  • i am absolutely speechless i watched this episode again remembring its in the last dis of 3rd season an to anser abahellojello question its in episode called sozins comet pt.2:old masters and watching it with the apology and all i was (tear) then my sister is lik r u crying!?....im lik.....yes im a girl! (no sexism mented) but i hate crying in public....so i needed an excuse no?

  • This makes me sad because I hearing this song reminds me about how the movie wasn't at all as good as this AMAZING TV show

GOD BLESS THE NICK TV CHANNEL!!!

  • @galacticman123 That's why I never watched the movie.

  • I really love this music. It's so beautiful and heartbreaking.

  • I cried the first time I saw this scene. I never cry at shows.

  • @carikittygeek Exactly the same, totally.

  • i forgot which episode was this in

anyway someone should upload that full scene/clip so i can watch it over and over and over again

  • A lot of that was Aang's fault, to be honest. It's not like the kids of the Southern Air Temple hated his guts, they just didn't want to Airbend with him, just like people might not want to duel the greatest swordsman in the world. And who knows, the kids at the Northern Air Temple, where he might have been transferred wouldn't have hated him, especially young Guru Pathik. Monk Gyatso was also gonna stop him from being moved before he left. I don't hate Aang, he just doesn't get much sympathy.

  • @solesc4 You must have never been left out of events then. It can hurt. It was part of the air nomads' lives to airbend, and most of their games consisted of airbending. Being left out of those daily fun activities together must have been very saddening to Aang, who was still confused over whether being the Avatar was even a good thing. Besides, if you've ever had to move from a place you love and people you care for, it's horrible. You don't know if it'll turn out alright, and often it doesn't.

  • Goddamnit, I cried so much in this series :')

  • @TheWaterbendingNinja waking up after 100 years to find that everyone you loved is dead is pretty emotional....aang was going to have a different teacher, and he was pretty shocked to find out he's the avatar....aang has been through so much, learning all the elements, battling around the world with the four nations....aang defeated the firelord for crying out loud!!!!!!! he saved the entire world!!!!!!!! HE'S THE AVATAR!!!! he is a hero...think before u say something >.<

  • Zuko should be the real hero in the show, he went through way more than Aang :*(

  • @TheWaterbendingNinja because waking up after 100 years to find that everyone you know and love is dead because of a choice you made is totally not emotionally scaring in any way. Just because Aang doesn't bitch about his problems as much as Zuko doesn't mean he doesn't have just as many.

  • avatar is emotional.....i cried when i first heard this song, it's so beautiful <3

  • Iwas crying along with Zuko in this scene! It was so beautiful :')

  • Pretty much the point where the tears I so deperately tried to hold back when watching the finale...spilled down my face. Just Zuko....he made the show. I don't care what anybody else says.

  • i could imagine zuko and uncle saying everything

  • Comment removed

  • This was the saddest part of the series...

  • @HatredExtreme this was very sad but dont you think that moment when Iroh was in Ba Sing Se mourning his son was more emotional?

  • @tooclamin well avatar is ALL emotional.

  • @tooclamin It was for me. And it makes it more especial because it was dedicated to Mako, Iroh's voice, who died after the episode was aired.

    That was real life sad.

  • honestly i fell in love with this piece during the beach episode when zuko finally shown how he was feeling......it was beautifully sad to me

  • the journey was fun to watch. kinda sad that its all over now

  • @beyb7 It's not all over! Korra is coming :D

  • @shawnataylor11

The only thing that I don't like about The Legend of Korra is that it will be scheduled for 26 episodes. I hope they change their minds and make it longer, but I guess it's going to be short because Korra just needs to learn airbending.

  • This scene got me all choked up. Beautiful scene, very well done.

  • The cartoon is emotional, funny and epic. Something the movie lacks.

  • Zuko and iroh are the best characters!!!!! This scene is my fav by far!!!!!

  • That scene is just amazing. I cried. I never cry at stuff but that just got me. :')

  • I may be 15 but Avatar will always be my favorite show it has such great music and such a good storyline!

  • @jdogdisturbed1996 I'm 24; but I'd have to agree with you. (I'm such a fan of its soundtrack.)

  • My dream is to bring back Avatars Honor when i Grow up ill remake a movie and the Amazing story of the last air bender will finally be recongnized for what it is an amazing story not just some movie that some idiot like M Knight shayman Put a couple thousand dollars into. Just wait i will make it

  • @TheVelveteenRose can i help you??? i wanna do the avatar movie too!!!! FUCK YOU SHAYMAN!!!!!

  • even more chills from hearing his thn from hearing last agni kai. ths song is creepy in a good way.

  • I consider myself to be pretty manly but this scene overwhelmed me. I was so happy and sad at the same time. The writers created a masterpiece with uncle Iroh and Zuko.

  • The two people that disliked this are Azula and Ozai

  • Am I the only one who didn't cry in this scene? I cried in the episode of Appa's Lost Days though since well, animals are better than humans and have more of an effect on me.

Avatar is my second favorite cartoon, show, anime, whatever the fuck you wanna call it. It is an wonderful show and the movie does not do it justice.

  • I cried at this scene.

  • Yea I definitely cried on that scene. I can't explain how big a fan I am of avatar, its a masterpiece

  • Best Scene in the entire show

  • Do anyone of you have tissues . . . ?

Anyways I have been searching for this OST for a long time.

It may be short, yet epic . . . and yeah, I cried on that scene.

  • zuco: Uncle.. i know you must have mixed feelings about seeng me, but i want you to know that im so so sorry, uncle. im so sorry and ashamed for what i did. I don't know how i can ever make it up to you but...

(Iroh grabs Zuko and pulls him into a comforting hug)

zuko: how could you forgive me so easely!? i tough you would be furious with me.

Iroh: i was never angry with you,i was sad because i was afraid you'd lost your way.

zuko: i did lose my way.

Iroh: but you found it again

  • @anonymepelle iroh, best character ever, if only he would be real.... :"(

  • @anonymepelle Iroh: ...And you did it by yourself. And I am so happy you found your way here.

Zuko: It wasn't hard, Uncle. You have a pretty strong scent.

    XD

  • @anonymepelle

I read along with this while i listened

    Avatar is so awessome!!!! :O

  • @anonymepelle

I read along with this while i listened

    Avatar is so awessome!!!! :O

  • @anonymepelle It wasn't hard, Uncle. You have a strong scent.

  • @anonymepelle It wasn't hard, Uncle. You have a pretty strong scent.

  • @anonymepelle you have a strong scent uncle. lol. but seriously, it was so sad D: but so sweet. ^.^ I'll miss this show, I wish it was still going. I wish they'd do another three books instead of a spin off in the future. I'll really miss the original characters, especially Zuko. I loved how he finally found where he belonged:)

  • @stuntsquiral221 We'll get a few "reader-digest" style graphic novels about the GAang repairing the world after the War ended - in early 2012.

  • @worldends08 hmm, yeah I know about that, but I is a biiit confuddled- some people have been saying they are comics, others have been saying they're novels... do you know for sure which one? Aaand, correct me if I'm wrong, they are from Dark Horse, aren't they?

  • @stuntsquiral221 They are from DarkHorse - and M&B are working with them. There might be some confusion b/c a collection of all the ATLA comics from NICK magazine - plus the unpublished ones - will be released this May - way before the NEW "digest-style graphic novels."

  • @worldends08 cool thanks ^.^ Apparently, Nick had a commic all sketched up about Zuko finding his mother, but the creator of Avatar requested it wasn't published cos he wanted it to stay as a cliff hanger. I'm both very hapy and very sad that it wasn't published, because I can't decide whether I want to know if he finds her or not XD

  • @anonymepelle How did the dialogue deteriorate from that to "it is time we show the fire nation that we believe in our beliefs just as strongly as they believe in theirs?" Curse you, Shyamalan!

  • @anonymepelle Your comment made me cry like the scene did :')

  • Comment removed

  • I watched the series for the first time (and it wont be the only time) just resently and the reunion scene with Zuko and hes uncle is defenetly one of the most beautiful scenes in all tv-series history. And this song is good enough too be in a movie.

  • I love Zuko and Aang and Sokka And Katara omg, i love this show! my favorite tv show ever

  • @sunsetsbythesea What about toph? and yha there so awsome!

  • If i remember correctly (from about 2/3 years ago when it first came out.

There was a sad scene in underground caverns with zuko and iroh

    Zuko: This is my destiny

Iroh: Is this your own destiny?... Or a destiny someone has chosen for you?

    Zuko:...

Iroh: Zuko, my nephew, I am begging you, it is time for you to look inward and ask yourself what do you want? What do you want your destiny to be?

  • i can imagine the whole scene, especially when uncle hugs Zuko its that big blast of music.8D

  • Iroh was the greatest father ever to Zuko who wasn't even his biological son

  • Zuko restored his own honor. i'm so proud of him :')

  • Mike and Bryan created a world with Avater:TLA.

    M. Night. Shyamalan destroyed it. Physically.

But us fans are ALWAYS gonna stay true to the series!

  • This is the song of a father forgiving a son.

  • whats the name of the longer version of this song that they play repeatedly throughout the series????? its mostly the music box sound at the very begining of this score.....SOMEONE HELP!!!!! please :)

  • It always gives my heart a painful little twinge when Iroh turns around to see Zuko, then turns back around without a word.

  • When Zuko first starts talking, I'm like, "come on Zuko! You got this!" And then when Zuko starts crying, I'm sobbing, too, like, "ZUKO YOU ROCK!!!"

  • This track is just so peaceful, I love Prince Zuko, but I love Dante Basco even more!!! <3

  • I cried when I saw this on TV!

  • "How can you forgive me so easily? I thought you would be furious with me!"

"I was never angry with you. I was sad, because I was afraid you'd lost your way."

  • poor freaking zuko.. always walking the line between good & bad :(

  • I loved when they played this on The Beach episode

  • The movie ruined Iroh

  • @HaloWarsFreak The movie ruined everyone. XD

  • Faking sad D:

  • omg this book fire was real intense :0

    it got so deep

  • the 3 series played here in belgium this weekend and i just finished watching it again and i just love it it's an amazing cartoon

but i always hate the ending like righ now i'm just sad. back into this stupid reality

everything here is so stupid and well bare...

i mean in avatar there are still warriors who fight for their honor and nation, little stores, funny people, awesome powers

and so much more and in this world you MUST DO AS YOU ARE TOLD in everything .....

  • @PulseOfTheAwakening It was on TV here in the Netherlands too past weekend. Too bad, because I was watching the series online at the same time without knowing the series was playing on TV. My little sister was watching the final when I came downstairs to grab a drink, kinda spoiled the end for me, even though I had watched the series already in 2006/'07.

You're right about the rest too, this world is much less awesome than the world in which Aang lives. :( I can't wait for the Legend of Korra!

  • "How can you forgive me so easily? I thought you would be furious with me!"

"I was never angry with you. I was sad, because I was afraid you'd lost your way."

    "I did lose my way."

"But you found it again. And you did it by yourself. And I am so happy you found your way here."

"It wasn't hard, Uncle. You have a pretty strong scent."

  • I normally don't cry a lot, but I was sobbing like a baby at the Zuko and Iroh reunion scene...

  • Avatar turned me into a babyback BITCH at this scene. Oh, I was blubbering all over the place.

  • @Orochimarusbitch im pretty sure everyone is with u on that one, uncle iroh is the reason i watched avatar, he's an amazing character that if i tried to describe it i would doing it an injustice

  • personally , IROH is the greatest character from avatar.. a man of pure strengths and ideals.. and i wish he was my uncle :/

  • "I was not mad at you, I was sad becaus i thought you had lost your way"

T_T make a new freaken arc gosh danget, i want moooooooorrrree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love how more adults watch this show than kids :) its the best show ever. i think it's even better than harry potter and lord of the rings and pirates of the carribean (my three favorite movie related things) put together

  • i listen to this music and it makes me think what a great show this was and still is i love the musci its awesome whos with me!!

  • If only there was a soundtrack out that we can all buy.... These songs are the best!

  • is there a way to download these songs

  • That scene in Avatar was without a doubt the best scene throughout the whole show! I cried so hard! Who agrees?

  • good lord i sobbed like a baby at this part

  • This was a great scene, but it was sorta ruined after Zuko said "You have a pretty strong scent."

  • group hug. i cried during this scene. i cried ALOT during Sozin's Comet.... who else did?

  • @asdfTwilight loll i tried not too

  • @sohouniontrashnyc it was hard, wasn't it? XD

  • who didnt cry

  • An uncle and Nephew, separated by war and betrayal, are all but lost to each other. When the whole world is on the brink of destruction, they find each other once more, and are reunited at last. Never again will they truly be apart.

When all else is hopeless, never forget who your family is, for there is nothing in this world more precious.

  • Ahhhh, this was uploaded on my birthday !! So awesome!

  • no words can describe how this music makes me feel

  • OMFG, I literally cried during that scene where Zuko was reunited w/ his uncle Iroh....

That moment was so sad and sweet!

  • @YosukeHanamurasLOVE I did too. You're not alone. When Iroh just basically said, "Shut up. I love you and I'm glad you're back..." with the hug, that sealed the deal. My mom was like, "You're crying over a show..." Ha ha

  • @YosukeHanamurasLOVE I did, too. I did.

  • @YosukeHanamurasLOVE

I have to cry every single time i'm watching this scene :D

  • This is from the scene when Zuko is appologizing to his uncle, Iro. At 21:00 Iro abborts Zuko's appologize and grabs him with a hug. it's a sad scene really

  • tisn is so sad i get all into it,actully i get into all of avatar stuff!

  • from what scene is this again? i know it, i just cant believe I forgot!

  • Zuko and Iroh's reunion. *sniffle* :']

  • Wow this is so amazing!

  • I cried, twice....

  • Oh, sad :'(

  • Wow, I almost cried T^T

Music is played with such intensity and emotion.

    I love it.

The movie isnt animated its played real people what a downer.

  • If it was animated, all it would be is the entire series of avatar in 2 1/2 to 3 hours, much less detail. But I have to admit, I heard about Shyamalan and I'm not to thrilled to watch him screw up avatar. I would rather have a season four. but I'll go see the movie anyway.

  • Well it will be 3 movies. At least... I think it could work out.

  • i know right? and all the characters look extremely depressed :(

  • Those were all mug shots, they were supposed to look depressed. But there is a new Noah Ringer picture where he's smiling, and he looks way too adorable. O3o

I'm sure they'll shoot out some pictures of the characters smiling at some point. :)

  • so...so sad.....

  • hey umm where can u buy the soundtrack?

  • ^.^ awwsum XD

  • Love this ^^

  • Tearing up. Literally, so amazing and epic, everything about this show is.

It's my favorite thing on TV and one of the many reasons I get out of bed each morning. 5/5

  • same here

    truley epic

  • I wonder if the movie going to be any good. I just i'll just have to wait to wensday..

  • Why Wednesday?

  • The debut of the teaser trailer with Transformers...

  • wait there making a movie ....is it still going to be anime?

  • Nope....its real XD

  • Im crying.....

  • im gonna cry

  • Masterpiece.

  • I almost cried at the ending. This is my favorite show of all time.

  • Avatar music is the best in the world I think so...And they need to make new show's now hah ^-^
