Stoner won the GP title 2 years ago on a shit Ducati - he beat Rossi and the others who were on the better bikes of Honda and Yamaha!! Now Stoner is unstoppable on the Honda.
It might take a bit longer but I recon they'll sort the Ducati out. Maybe Rossi is past his best but on the right bike he can win races and with 4/5 guys all capable of winning world championships, he is still in with a chance of equaling Agostini's record for motogp WCs (I don't think anyone will get near Ago's 15 total though). It might take a bit longer but I recon they'll sort the Ducati out. Maybe Rossi is past his best but on the right bike he can win races and with 4/5 guys all capable of winning world championships, he is still in with a chance of equaling Agostini's record for motogp WCs (I don't think anyone will get near Ago's 15 total though). You can't right off someone with that much talent.

When Ducati will make a 4 cylinder that it work like a PURE 4 cylinder engine we can see Rossi at the first place again...I hope it for him, if they will not do that I think we will never see him at the first place again. I hate 2 cylinder engine and I hate the Desmosedici project with the twin pulse tecnology, I hate Ducati

@JayzBeerz And Yamaha also require Rossi. In order to become champion again and bring in sponsors. Although he was not a champion, but his insert is very useful for M1 development. And anyone who became his team mate will increase their knowledge about the set-up and riding techniques if you have a team mate like Rossi. Ben is incredibly talented rider, unfortunately he became a Lorenzo team mate. If Yamaha is Vale and Ben, Yamaha will be very strong. And will have a lot of sponsors.

@CELEBICI3 Ducrapi. LOL, Ducati is a great company. And Ducati is NOT garbage obviously. It's incredibly difficult for a small company to compete with Honda and Yamaha. However, I will still refer to them as Ducrapis mainly because of their elitist customers here in the USA. There's a reason Hayden won on Honda and Rossi won on Honda and Yamaha and why they don't win on Ducrapis. Stoner obviously can win on all 3.

Rossi's confidence took a hit after the accidents last year, and he just doesn't seem willing to push the bike to its outer limits like Stoner. I like the man, but I can't see him ever challenging Stoner/Lorenzo/Pedrosa again on a regular basis, even after Ducati have completed the morphing of their bike into a Honda.

Valentino Rossi is quicker on the Ducati this year than Casey was last year. What makes it look so bad is that Honda and Yamaha have taken a massive jump forward with the performance of their bikes and Casey is riding the best he ever has. These comments about Stoner being rubbish or Rossi being rubbish are made by idiots. Clearly they are both extremely talented riders.

Rossi will be back fighting for wins next year. I never expected him to be good this year for 2 reasons.
1) The bike never suited his riding style. Besides Moaner, Spies is the only other rider I can see on the Duc.
2) Injuries and track time.
Why next year will be better for Rossi
1) Rules changes will better suit him while leveling the playing field a bit.
2) Rossi is a better development rider than Moaner. Don't think so? Moaner's bike only got worse since '07. Wonder why....

Rossi already learned something from Stoner on a ducati.: To crash! :) Rossi crashed more than any other season, with the ducati, while Stoner now on a honda went down 2-3 times, and only on free practises. Conclusion: Its easier to crash with the ducati than on a honda.

What I concern most is a team work , a lots politics involved and hope it will finish soon , too bad Vale struggle hard but the bike won't go much , for those supporters be patience , it will overcome next year , for sure this year will be Stoner year ....but definitely always support Vale , he is the living LEGEND !!
