  • And also, trying not to change the distance between the stopped and touched fingers while glissing down. So what was a large interval higher on the string becomes a smaller one as you descend, thus catching the different artificial harmonics in succession.

  • Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks again. BTW, I am one of the composers at UNT who did a master class with you. I had the piece with many extended techniques. If you would like to here a recording of that piece, I can send you the link.
