Ringo songs always sound like ''such a thing'' as John and Paul used to tease him about. As a drummer he cant be accused for it, but he clearly never had it in the melody department. Nevertheless this one has a nostalgic anthem quality about it, which is what it needed as the liverpool 08 theme song so I thought it was alright. Maybe abit too much left brained rythm for Paul's taste but certainly one of the best Ringo songs. Good job Ringooo ;)

I agree that they really should not have been autotuned his voice...they should have let the character of his voice be heard more. That would have made the song even more epic! I have enjoyed the Beatles music since I was a young fellow, I;m in my 50s now and the songs that I listened to back then (60s 70s ) still have the same meaning to me now as they did then.Liverpool 8 and Never Without You are two of Ringos songs that bring a smile to my face and a slight dampening of my eyes when Ringo says to George,,,Because this song is about you.Oh yes!
