  • Scott, when i do the Deep Crunch with T-Up, my hip or something in my lower back pops every time i go down. It is not painful, and im only 15. Should i continue doing the exercise or not?

  • @FILASIHIYproductions nothing should pop crack click etc. I had a non-painful click in my shoulder and collar bone when i did chest and back exercises, now i have to go through months of surgery as my clavicle collapsed into my body after i wore away the muscle tissue. Chances are your form may be a little off, i tried heavy weights and complicated exercises too fast when i was 15 and im paying for it (im only 19)Theres plenty of other ways to hit your obliques which could be safer

  • When I do 3 sets of this, it seems to just hurt my arms and hands, and I can't feel any burn in the abs whatsoever. It looks like i'm doing it correctly, breathing out when I lift each leg up, what am I doing wrong?

  • @codygray28 I can tell you that ab workouts alone arent going to get you the results you seek. Try mixing up the workout by adding a mile run warmup, or some other form of aerobics to maximize your calorie burn. A good diet is obviously essential as well.

  • @thenextmj45 sorry, i know i'm not scott, but what about eating a lot of protein, turning them into muscle mass and then some cardio to get ripped? works for me...

  • @skatei Scott's body composition is not changing, as he is clearly not following a mass-gaining nutrition plan. Moreover, he does not need to follow the workout he has demonstrated to you, it is for you, and others, who need to make changes to your body.

  • If u look closly ppl with big abs have a huge arrow pointing to there dong. no relly the main Abs make a rectangle and the obliques make the point. Never thought of it have u?

  • hey scott i have been working out for 3 years and i have really developed my core muscles but they are covered by a layer of fat so i cannot see them. my height is 5 foot 9 and i weight 160 pounds. i workout 3 to 4 times a week very intensly but those last 8 pounds of fat dont want to go away. do you think high intense cardio would be better.

  • I've been looking for this for awhile, its the stage I'm at right now ---> revealing the abs. Cardio and these exercises should get me there!!!! Now I just need to stop drinking at the bars at night

  • i was doing this abercrombie and fitch workout called the A-z where you pretty much lie on your back and do leg raises but your making the capitals of the alphabet with your feet and you do three sets of that and its pretty difficult actually haha but what would i be working more in that exercise lower abs or everything?

  • Some amazing ab workouts there Scott. I especially liked the Deep Crunch with T-up. I never knew one could use that back machine for abdominal crunches, very ingenious Scott :).

  • I dont believe scotts body can get much bigger (without the use of steroids) . But he also has a perfect size. He's very buffed without it being disgusting :)

  • You know guys, Scott only got as RIPPED as he is, by doing these bloomin' videos for us! I bet this is the only excercise he gets! Keep churning these out Scott they are brilliant

  • how's your pelvic posture and lower back after those workouts? To both you scott and everyone else who's tried the exercise.. the first two exercises look like they'd work your hip flexors pretty hard.. if anyone experiences low back pain during that exercise it could be a psoas muscle.. a deep lunge stretch can help that post workout.

  • @Smurfette2007 It is best to not rely on a belt because you will weaken your core. A belt is meant for when you are doing EXTREMELY heavy lifts :)

  • @guneetmultani six pack is for a strong core yo, it just means you wont have ack problems when ur older and ur buds will have all this arm and chest weight with no abdominal support for their back to hold all that weight up

  • @kaidiau well... its hard to say without seeing you... but not everyone has an 8 pack... look at mine.. I have the BIG 4 pack... like Superman and Captain America.. so im happy :)

  • @ScottHermanFitness it also has to depends on what your body will do, my abs are the same way, the upperwill become bigger but the lower will have more strength but wont show as much

  • @lynchy8888 unfortunately you may have to get creative... OR utilize a pillow or something softer to put under your back to help create more of an ARCH on the way down :)

    pretty sure if would be odd to see a random guy talking to a video camera during peaks times in a full gym, never mind the fact, the machines he may need to film may not be available. Empty gym = easy access, no people in the way.
