It is amazing to see the love you and your family are pouring unto Norah. I wish you and your family love, joy, peace and all the very best ... take care and God bless~
Kiljan 137, Ha-ha your right on 2:25, did you happen to notice that at one point I was signing every and was saying easy just got confused, I noticed it when I watched it with the sound off. I and my wife are learning sign as fast as I we can because we are the ones that teach it to Norah. So she is just at the point where she is putting 2, 4 even some time 5 words together. They may not be in the right order yet but she will figure it out with time.
Just in the last couple of weeks it seems that there is new emerging language both in her signing and verbal skills. It is so exciting to have her start to make sentences to tell us things, before when she would sign it was because she wanted a need met, she is starting to use sign more to describe or show us things.
We have a very good speech therapist that is also helping us with sign know that sign language and spoken language is process in the same part of the brain, In my opinion it will only help her to speak, knowing we would be able to get her to sign fluently way before she will be able to speak I has been wonderful to communicate with her. I dont think we would be to the point of our bounding and attachment with Norah if we did not sign to her.
That's just wonderful. :) I'll bet with the way she tries to say "Daddy", "Bottle", and "Banana" that one day you'll be trying to think of ways to make her STOP talking. :P I've really enjoyed following your blog these last few weeks, you have a great family. :)
@pdlbean@pdlbean Thanks, she is popping out with new sounds every day now it is a really exciting time in our lives. I can tell that she will be asking a lot of questions about every thing the more and more language she gets.
