  • Hi is this the chilli used for ayam masak merah?

  • gula byk aa..aku suka guna cili kering,x bapa pedas dan sdp

  • Spicy............hot.......

  • can dis sambal serve wif nasi lemak? btw, wat is tamarind extract? thanx for reply!

  • @jcqong of course can..air asam jawa..

  • @jcqong tamarind extract = air asam jawa

  • I do the fried version of sambal belacan too. Except that I pound the ingredients instead of grinding them in a blender. But I don't use cili api, too hot! I pound red chilies with belacan, tomato, onion, garlic, salt and sugar. Then I fry it in olive oil, squeezing lime into it while frying, and I add a li'l bit of chopped cilantro or culantro..

  • This is better than mushroom soup

  • yummy !!!

  • sedapnyaaaa..... just tambah apa yang patut e.g. udang, ketam, ikan etc

  • @kumbatura aku rasa yg nie, untuk di cica la, sbb dia guna cili padi (bird chilli), pedas juga 2 kan, kalau yg untuk ktam atau udang 2 guna cili kering yg dikisar. aku rasa la.

  • SHIOK SIA

  • @Justtocommentate kind of. but for nasi lemak, u've to add some anchovies and the chilli used is dried chilli. that's the only differences. :)
