@TheBlacky228 all pc's get dusty dude. even xboxes, ps3's, hell even the wii. you could go to a computer shop to dust it or just set it on a table outside and use a landscape blower on it. if you dont know what you're doing, i recommend just going to a shop. I however, dust it with a landscape blower. Its because costs alot to dust consoles at a store. I typically dust my systems every 6-8 months. But thats just a recommendation.

I know they said its a great all around Performance computer but would recording HD video with an HD PVR be any trouble on this computer? I'm not very good with computers but I plan on learning a lot. I also plan on just using my TV as the monitor and I didn't notice an HDMI port on it, I would like to know if it has one. I build game rigs for a living. But I wanted to see what all the chatter was about with the Alienware R3.. I was plesantly surprised

I modded the beast as soon as I recovered from the heafty price tag..

The best upgrades are 240 GB OC Vortex 2 SSD and 8 gb of 1866 Corsair memory.. Also the NVidia GTX 460's in SLI will take anything you throw at it.. MAX'ed out..For al you clowns that say.. Oh.. I can build 2 rigs for the price of 1 R#.. Go blow yourself.. You obviously can't afford it.

But, i will tell you a couple of advices. 1; Do not buy things until you actually need them. 2; When you are going to buy something, it is always a good option to wait as long as you can, that way, at the end, you have a higher budget and can get something of better performance or quality. Looks good! I like the fact that there are vents at the top, but that the airflow is still moving primarily from front to back. I have a Maingear Shift right now w/ the inverted motherboard design, and the two gtx 590's it has inside spew endless amounts of hot air (even when idle), making the machine very uncomfortable to sit next to. Don't buy Alienware. I bought an Aurora R3. Worst buy ever. Delivered broken out of the box and Dell did nothing to help me fix it. Thousands of dollars wasted on a system I can't use. Good choice using a monitor to play your xbox 360 on by the way, it's alot better unless you have a good quality TV. 3D gaming isn't also what I want either.
