well, there's usually more news on these things as they get closer to coming into play. So far I'm thinking that they'll be out in the Q2/Q3 final release of RO2, and that from there, private non-KSSN requiring servers will have to wait another month for a good hacker to reverse engineer the game and make the dimago and ellr class available to normal people.

well, if their server emulation doesn't vary much between beta and final release then it should only take maybe an extra month for hacking the files off the Korean server.

If you want to play a similar game then yes, create it yourself. Also, if the 'korean assholes,' want to be racist then let them, it's totally within their right, it is after all their game.

Private servers are stealing, it is a crime and it only proves to inevitably delay/slow and destroy the legit game in the long run. Look at Ragnaok Online(1) for that matter. The original plans had HEAPS more content. Hackers ruined this.

On a lighter note, RO2 will also be release for the south east.

Actually, it speeds up the legit game because more people are playing on private servers, freeing up the bandwidth for the official game. But yeah, I suppose it delays official content, but also look at some of the private server items that were very unique and original, Gravity should have been taking ideas from some of these people.

as i ve stated , they arent in this beta, and from what little info ppl can gather, it SEEMS they will be like the 1-2 classes in RO1 (i.e. sader, and rogue) in that they will come in later in the games life, to flesh it out a bit. and make way for more story in a later expansion.

but this is all speculation. no-one knows for sure.

I was told by the GMs in my Private server, that they are a Different race and have different Classes too...like Ellr will have alot of Magical classes(white magic, black magic, Summon) and Bow classes ( Marksmen,Hunter ) so basicly they are a Ranged class, and the Dimago will be more like Warriors, and have classes like (samurai, Brawler etc), and Normans can use anything really...

ive played it and its AWESOME. only for like 3 months the beta only had the STR stat working XD, its fixed now and all the skills work. but Ellr will be being added in like, a majour patch/expansion later down the track.

IMO, what what they mean for "appeals to western gamers" is like Dimago is played like: World of Warcraft, 2Moons, 9Dragons etc. while "appeals to asian gamers" is like Ellr is played like: FlyFF, etc.

the Damigo's LOOK is sposed to appea to the westerns eye for tall, slender characteristics, where-as the Ellr's chibi cuteness should appeal to Asian gamers.

Damigo are designed to apeal to the Western gamers, with their taller sleaker design.

and the Ellr were designed to appeal to the asian gamers. althoguh im not asian, i still cant wait to Beta Test some Ellr! thed Damigo are okay, normans are cool, but Ellr will F**KIN ROCK!

(also Damigo and Ellr work differant to Normans, they DO NOT job change at the present time)

You cant. The Ellr and the Damigo's work differantly to the Normans. the Ellr are specifically geared towards mage-like play. there MAY be differant tree's (E.G. buff/damage/heal) but there moree liek a RO1 Skilltree then the Normans RO2 skill upgrade system.(to my knowledge) also they dont classchange.
