Same here. I've mentioned actual experiments which defy what I call "common folk sense" (not derogatory) as well as ideas such as Wolf talks about. They don't accept it because a.) they can't comprehend it b.) they refuse to acknowledge what the evidence points to because...c.) it doesn't fit with their personal paradigm and/or d.) it's taboo & "uncool".
Talking about this stuff, no matter how true, may ruin your sex life and damage your career ("look out...here's the fruitcake again").

In reality, what is really going on is beyond our scope of "knowability" if that is even a word. All humans essentially suffer from "multiple personality disorder" which is the practical point. There is only the Self, or I which is connected to All. It is the Ego/Mind or conditioned beliefs of a being that have allowed this fragmentation into multiple personalities. The Ego keeps me from hearing your thoughts, separating the "I" from "YOU" but this is only an illusion manifest by the limitations of what we see from our beliefs.

I still don't get how it can be natural to not be socially conscious: how can anyone has less potential; have less contact with this.. source. My conclusion is that it's not possible; it can only be variations - in what way you are contacted with it. This would then answer to how pain can be natural in one way: you have chosen it, but not why would prefer not having the pain; why did you chose it in the first place?

I liked that show. It shows some nice stuff but some of it isnt proven science.
The water crystals affected by positive and negative thinking is one of them. Masaru Emoto has not submitted his findings to the peer review journals and also hasnt let someone replicate his experiment under double blind conditions.
It could be true but it hasnt been put through the scientific method, makes you wonder what he is hiding? Im sure he has sold a lot of books though : )

Fred Alan Wolf is great at articulating complex ideas in a way the lay person can understand. However, all of the "bleep" discussions would have been far richer with interviewers who were knowledgeable in this field, or related fields, and could ask questions of the speaker that prompted greater insight into the subject matter.
