Palin was full of it, it's true. But so were all the others. Nothing but spiel. Im glad Obama inspires people, he doesn't inspire me any more than McCain did. But , he's the president and I hope he does well.
in hindsight, these two were jokers from the start! a retired wack-o airman and an alaskan bushwoman running the country...jesus christ on the cross, i had nightmares about that
It seems that for a significant segment of the (North) American population, the word Muslim really is synonymous with terrorist. What a truly sad state of affairs. I guess ignorance isn't always bliss. I of course realise that there are many thousands of open-minded, highly educated Americans who are no doubt extremely embarrassed by the fumbling Mrs. Palin.
Somehow, the comedic writers of SNL were only able to make something slightly stupider than what Palin actually said.
To any and all McCain supporters, when SNL and an actual vice presidential interview make me laugh equally hard, you know that particular vice president is stupid, you might think Bush is stupid, knock off roughly 100 IQ points and you have Palin.
Vote Barack Obama, vote common sense, vote for a vice president with a working frontal lobe.
We are voting for an intelligent, open-minded, anti-war candidate.
If you really believe he's a Muslim or a terrorist than I have wasted my time. Though it illustrates the gutter campaign of the far-right is very much working on ignorant Americans.
ROFL!!!! Holy shi-ite! Great catch! I can't believe she actually talks like that. The skits write themselves.
*speechless*

I can't tell the difference between the two. I'm a Brit watching this circus from across the pond. Christ she is scary, and not in a good way.

The only real difference between the two is the laugh track. Maybe Palin would do better if there was a laugh track on every interview she does.

America seems to become a sort of freakshow. It's as funny as terrifying to look at from afar.
From a deeply concerned though well-entertained German. Keep going America - what a stunning show.
