If you use a capo on the first fret, just raise everything else up one fret

i.e.

Instead of playing 554xxx play 665xxx

Way Lin does a fantastic job with her tutorial of the song. I actually listened to her tutorial in combination with several different tabs before making my version of it.

It isn't a competition to see who makes the best tutorial as people all are at different skill levels and learn in different ways. For example, some people get strum patterns easily, other do not. The same goes for chord shapes.

not at all. If you want to sound EXACTLY like tokio hotel, you should use an electric guitar. But since I don't have one, I make due with an acoustic. It all depends on the sound you want.

The chorus part...the strumming of the chorus part. Mine don't seem to sound like urs.

so for the chorus i just use downward strums, each chord gets 8 downward strums and then you change to the next chord. My advice if you are struggling to transition from one chord to the next is to cheat a little, only strum 7 times per chord, and use the 8th strum to change your fingers a little. It won't sound perfect but it'll sound a lot better! Hope that helps!
