I had the joy of visiting beautiful Kenya two years ago and I saw this shanty town a few times from the air. It always baffled me how so many Kenyans, even poor ones, live rather well, yet towns such as this exist. Why?

i feel so sad watching this; seeing this makes me really angry at our government. I just don't understand what kibaki is doing, and what moi has done. Why is our country so stagnant! I mean many countries are developing and along the way trying to figure out how to correct the "slum situations", but i just don't see what kenya is doing. it hurts my heart seeing this.
