@MrNarfa ofc it is, its giving strength bonus, and its too much risk to fight with low hp, just smarter, but if you dont have enough money, dharock is more than enough :P

try using torag helm, karil body, whip and dfs with gs for spec

i usually get 2-3 more kills with that than full bandos with ags :)

I've been soloing for not very long, maybe 1 week or so, and i wore Dragonhide for mage protect...but now this guy told me to put range protection armor (barrows) bcuz ranger is more powerful...is this true? I'd like your opinion on that. By the way, I can't afford full bandos, only the Godsword atm.

You def want barrows if you cant afford bandos. I used to wear torags helm, karils top, and veracs skirt which worked nicely.

I went with Torag's helm and legs and Karil's top. I only got 1 kill per trip at my 102 combat. Karil's defense bonus is better than dragonhide

im barrows pure with bull ant and i do fine.. gear is v helm karils top v skirt d boots fury bgs rol and barows gloves, switch to ring of wealth when about 7\8 dead, 2-4 kills per trip, hilt and tassy in about 32 trips so far :)
