hell yeah i hear u man lars isnt that technically good but his simplicity in his playing is what made all their earlier songs soo good. if he overplayed like many other metal drummer tend to do the music would not be as good as it is.

Lars is great drummer,he understands rhythm better than any1.. Battery,double bass on One,dyers eve etc.

man this albums still good though, everyone hates on it for some reason, theres some really cool songs n ideas on it I dig it, but ya ur totally right about Lars, im sure if he took a bunch of speed and wanted to he could be like jordison but theres really no need to be, a great drummer is not determined by how fast they may be but how well they can write a song, you cant get a nice groove goin with slipknot as much as i love them but with songs like this you just kinda bob your head

yeh i agree.. the drummer isnt based on how fast you can play, although im sure lars could play like that if he wanted to... and alot of people dont like this album because of the lack of solos. kirk didnt like that, haha... i gotta say i didnt love the album when it first came out, but it grew on me, especially this song. this is easily the best song on the album. load and reload still havent grew on me because i feel metallica drifted from their metal persana on those.. but some songs are good
