  • These guys really made me wish I'd been born about five years earlier so I could've seen 'em live. I about wore out my copy of "Crawdaddy Express" back in the day, and I'm still listening to the digital version today.

  • As someone who saw the Graham Bond Organisation do this at 04.30 on a Sunday in the morning in a London club it brings back memories. Bond's Bach intro was much longer with the Hammond swelling the sound to a huge crescendo before hitting the melody.

  • one of the greatest bands of the 80's!together with the tell tale hearts of course! good job ray!

  • Ray - I have some pics of the band, with Keith Fisher on bass; what year would that be?

  • ONKlub,

This would be late 1983, after Mike Stax left.

Check your messages, I have a request for you.

    Thanks!

  • More precisely, it was December 7th, 1980 — a date which will live in infamy!

The occasion was the "Farewell Performance" of McClain's All Bitchin', All Stud, All Stars.

And it was my 4th gig in as many days with the Fab 'Dads .

    Thanks for posting this Ray!
