ok...so with the crackle medium do you have to paint the top layer for it to crack? and do they sell the crackle medium at walmart ? i love this look ! TFS
Thank you for the tutorial!! I have a question. I'm using the exact same products that you are, including the foam brush, and the only thing that I did differently was NOT using a heat gun to dry any of it. I let each layer dry completely before the next step, but my paint never really cracked. Do you have any ideas as to why it didn't work? Thanks so much!!!
Awesome Technique!! I'm jealous of how you keep your manicure perfect after all the scrappin'....After an hour of crafting, my nails are a hot mess! LOL (:
Random question: I just want to make sure because my Vintage Photo looks very pink-y and yours doesn't (on video anyway). Does yours have the pinks tones or is mine having a possible ink issue? Thanks. :)
I love using cracke meduim in my projects! I'm always amazing while watching it crack for some reason...lolol Thanks for the tutorial Bona! Hope you are having a nice weekend my friend :) Hugs, Mary >;<
OOOOmy goodness! You made it look soo easy. LOL! I have tried and tried to use crackle paint and it has never worked for me!! But i think i got it now!! :} Heat set is the key!! LOL! I have always just let it air dry!! Thanks girl for sharing all you do !! You"re a doll!! ~kimie :)
Thanks so much for sharing about the crackle paint! It is much cheaper this way! I thought you just used the Ranger Crackle Paint! Appreciate the tips! I will have to try this. =)
THANKS Bon!!! :-) It worked, yay!! I'm so glad you put this tut out cuz nothing out there was helping me LOL!!! The heat tool was my missing element... I guess I have to be "not patient" and use my heat gun too LOL!! (inside joke) :-) Love how the flower came out!
Hi Bona! I love doing this technique!! It's a lot of fun and we all love it. I did a tut a little bit back showing how to use that same brand and just love how fast it works and watching crack as it dries! Thanks for sharing. Love the birdcage die cuts..omg soo cool! I put in my order for it! Thanks for offering it,....Jules
That was great. One of the better vids I've seen on crackle paint. Great view I was actually able to see the crackle effect very well. :)
