She doesn't understand the shades of meaning of the word "spirit" - even in English it can mean many things. Each meaning is based on context - in Thomas' case Jesus was saying he was not an apparition, so "touch me."

We need to have a more, how can I say it, sophisticated understanding.

anyone that talks against jehovah's are making a huge mistake...they do believe in the resurrection, and do believe in the holy spirit, jesus was resurrected in spirit, just as he was before coming to earth to serve his purpose...talkin about these people like that make you yourselves more confuse...I believe they are clear in what they teach and preach.

Jesus used resurrection and recreation interchangeably.

Compare Mat 19:28 and Mat 25 - "Truly I say to YOU, In the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down upon his glorious throne, YOU who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

So if you believe in the resurrection, then you also believe in the re-creation. They are the same thing.

Hence the video is a MIS-representation of what JWs believe.

I spoke to a JW outside of my kids daycare center where they usually are evrey morning and we discussed the Bible and a few topics like was Jesus created and about the Holy Trinity. At last I asked her what does the name Jehovah mean? and she said it meant the most powerful being. And I laughed and i told her that was not the meaning and she was getting nervous. Then i asked her wher in the bible does it specifically state that the Father is Jehovah? I haven't seen her since. She has not called

Let me kindly and politely tell you what Jehovah's name means: He "Causes to Become." Meaning he can become or do whatever it is he wills. As for the JW you talked to, I am not sure what she meant by that. I am not saying she is right or wrong.

It is wrong to manipulate the scriptures. I do not do that. We follow the Bible as accurately as possible. The Bible even says that some ppl twist the scriptures to their own ways but I am not doing that. I am just doing my job of explaining the scripture and helping others to understand it better. There was a resurrection of Jesus on the third day as a spirit being, not a man. He already lived and died a man. Only his Father Jehovah God could bring him back. If he had a soul within him that survived death, there would be no need for a resurrection but yet there was one.

Proverbs 8:30 Yes, Jehovah God speaking to his son Jesus. They were NOT the same person. At that time he was not yet called Jesus but Michael. Michael was the firstborn off ALL creation and nothing else was created without him or before him. Feel free to write the Jehovah's Witnesses about it for comprehensive information. If you start to read Proverbs 8:1-36 you can easily understand that what is being described is WISDOM and they reffer to it as a she. Wisdom was the first thing to be created! It was not Jesus. There are hundreds of Scriptures that disprove the trinity. Would you be willing to research it for yourself? I have and I have not found any evidence of a trinity-three persons in one. I have spent years for hours a day on it and this is absolutely a teaching the early Christians did not believe and did not put faith in. What do you think of Genesis 1:26? Or Proverbs 8:30? But just a few of 100s of proof.

Again it can't be any clearer-when he says "our" he is talking about his son who is separate from himself, Michael-(archangel) later came to earth as Jesus. He only was called Jesus after being born to Mary. The promised "seed" was foretold in Genesis 3:15, foretelling Jesus sacrificial death and then to life again and would completely crush or destroy Satan.

If a person is one and the same how can they speak to each other? How can they learn from each other? That would not make sense.

You need a more accurate translation. Actually, that verse says, at the last part there, "May JEHOVAH rebuke you."

The immediate Lord and master of true Christians is Jesus Christ, but the One that even Jesus is inferior to, the Creator, Jehovah God, is not merely our immediate master.......He is SOVEREIGN LORD OF THE UNIVERSE, Jehovah of armies!!

When Jesus Prayed he was praying to the Father! He gave himself as a human so that we could be saved by his blood! The only reason he considered himself inferior to GOD was because he was in human form. In human form he was also considered inferior to the Angels for the lapse of time when he was in human form.
