Its not creepy.. more like kinda the feeling of you loosing something. and its saddening, cuz you feel trapped in it. but in the end, as its said, time heals all wounds.

The distortion world is like an analogy for that. It being that feeling youre lost in. but when you face that 'demon' you can move on. i.e. getting past giritina and leaving his world back to reality.

Pokemon platinum had Amazing music. Much better than black and whites! This Track is weird. It starts of creepy, but it's also kinda playful. Time and space are not forms of matter.

If Giratina was antimatter he would react with any matter he touched, annihilating both himself and an equal amount of matter around him. And if his world was that of antimatter, anyone entering would die in much the same way. Granted, Dialga and Palkia were assigned the elements of time and space respectively, so that may be something attributed to him.

But there is more in the universe than just matter - Giratina may have other elements.

And the reason why i say he is the antimatter pokemon is because that is what game freak said he was. But antimatter creates matter. The universe exists within time space and matter.

The distortion world, I believe is neither a rift or home of the dead, but a little of both. It is a linked dimension...representing void. All of the same energies in the human world are present in the distortion world (in alternate form), except for humans and other pokemon. If the overworld is light, then the distortion world would be darkness keeping things in balance.
