  • Christophrenic.

  • Perhaps you are correct. Indeed, i did not read the info. I will do so then think about it and get back to you.

  • "I am Christ". Indeed, as was Manson, Koresh, Jones etc... . Pray tell, Christ, how many deaths will you be responsible for and when shall the festivities begin?

  • @tapesquare You're missing the point of the video! Maybe if you read the information that goes along with this video you'd have a different understanding of what I'm trying to do.

  • If I'm Christ, then where is my magical powers? What about all those people before Christ - were they Christ too? Or were they not Christ, and by your logic, Anti-Christ? While we are here, what about all those people who existed before Christianity & Judaism - if the only way to "heaven" is through these faiths and their gods, then what happened to those people? What kind of god would only provide salvation through itself, but show up late to the game, after MANY generations have died?

  • 0 + 0 = 0 - You can't create something from nothing... but that is EXACTLY your belief. Remember, in the beginning there was nothing and God - yet God created everything from NOTHING.

This is exactly why people compare your religions and beliefs in god to beleif in MAGIC.

The Big Bang theory does not assert absolute knowledge to knowing how, what or why - but it does assert that at one point in time ALL the matter in the universe was in the same place.

  • You've really created a profound maze of heirarchical and abstract masks to hide the fact that you're really, honestly, just kinda makin' shit up.

  • @alphaenemy

Why don't you give me an example of what it is that you say I made up? Because I feel that I can back up anything that I'm saying here and the fact that no Christian in the 1000 or so views has yet to tell me that I'm wrong.

  • @DeistReality I'm not saying that you're wrong, I'm saying that you're abstracting the shit out of everything and making nonsense sound really important.

  • You quote the bible and then say Jesus is not God?I beg to differ & will continue to quote scripture that proves otherwise, OK?

Col 1:16,17 And He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him, etc.Paul is talking about the Savior.

  • @nld1960

Yes keep quoting scripture as there are some truths to be found in the mythology of it all.

"you give me several quotations from the Bible, which you call the 'word of God,' to shew me that my opinions on religion are wrong, and I could give you as many, from the same book to shew that yours are not right; consequently, then, the Bible decides nothing, because it decides any way, and every way, one chooses to make it."

    Thomas Paine

  • @DeistReality

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

In short, Jesus knew that he was apart of God in like manner that we all are. Many quote I could give.

  • @DeistReality If you are right about all you say and we die, no problem.......but......if what I say is truth, you are in a heap of trouble.

  • @nld1960

If you're wrong (we know that you are because your biblical god overshadowing a virgin who was engaged to be married to save us from the sins of the world, that your biblical god created when he created this thing "lucifer" at the very heart goes against the laws of nature, and natures God) you and all of your cohorts have slandered our Creator with this "original sin complex" of yours, with no apologies made.

You're not dealing with truth my friend, you're dealing with a faith of lie!

  • @DeistReality I love scripture, the more I read it,the more I know this book is better than any scientific manual I have read. There is absolute mathematical proof the Book(bible)is of God.A couple of books with astounding research can be found called Theomatics. They now have their website with the same name. There is also overwhelming proof of creation by God.Many ex evolutionist scientists have written about it,there are documentaries made by them.Would you like to debate the issue?

  • @nld1960 I love scripture too as it inspires me deeply. I believe that this book is of God on many levels as well. What I don't believe is the Christian take on the Bible as their literal understanding is provably wrong.

No need to prove that God is the creator of the creation, this too I agree with. Like our father and mother I feel that God is apart of us in like manner. Do we still need to debate?

Can you prove a devil, original sin,a virgin birth with this mathematical certainty of yours?

  • @DeistReality If it is in the bible I believe it in the way it was written, such as Daniel and The Revelation of Jesus Christ are apocalyptic and prophetic, etc Mathematical certainty is not mine. You want proof, go to theomatics or angelfall web sites.Easy reading. Then come back and talk to me.Can I prove original sin, etc. What a question!I can.I can see that you do not have children otherwise you would not ask me that.

Why is it you have to tell tiny tots NOT to do things?Where that come from?

  • @DeistReality I don't care about your questions.I care only about Eternity.I believe I have done wrong,or sinned in my life.I believe in my sinful state I cannot be in God's holy presence. But according to Jn3:16,God so loved us that he gave his only Son,Jesus who died for my sins,my penalty is eternal separation from God.The requirement is faith or believe that Jesus died for my sin.However,Jn3:18 warns that if you do not believe, you stand condemned already.I believe that with all my heart.

  • @DeistReality Can you disprove any of this?I know that people who have been regenerated or born of the spirit are changed. All of Jesus' disciples ran away scared before Jesus was risen. After Jesus was risen,He left us The Holy Spirit. When the Spirit entered these disciples, they were fearless and ended up martyred.Peter upside down on a cross. So many since have been changed by Jn3:16,born of the Spirit.I have seen it time and time again.Regenerated from spiritually dead to life.A miracle!!

  • @DeistReality Our prisons are rotating doors no matter what we do or what program they complete.Nothing works, except for 1 thing. We support chaplains who work inside prisons.Yearly all the prisoners who have been born of the Spirit get together for dinner. They are now college grads, business owners, licensed electricians, plumbers, home owners, moms, dads. They have been changed and stay out of prison 95% of the time, all around the US.Is that enough proof for you?How are these people changed? How?

  • @nld1960 "If it is in the bible I believe it in the way it was written".

Well my friend we'll never know how it was actually written,or how it was to be understood as we'll never have all the information for a host of different reasons that I'm sure know. We all have our thoughts on the matter, and take what we need.

"I don't care about your questions.I care only about Eternity."

My brother you are in eternity right now,the question is will God continue this eternity as you now understand it.

  • @DeistReality I believe there will be a great judgement by Jesus Christ of all who have been born on earth. This time Jesus Christ will not be that timid preacher, healer, but the Judge with eyes of fire. There will be a seperation of the sheep and goats. He will do away with evil---something like that. There will be a lake of fire.

I care not for heaven with the gates of pearl and streets of gold. I care only to serve God for all eternity and be in the Light even if I am one of the least.

  • An Atheist is a person who questions any kind of authority.

  • @SharriLorraine A Christian is a person who runs from criticism of his faith by mindlessly quoting the bible as if,because it is written in "Gods" book, it's all true. It's like asking an insane person if they are sane. They will look into their own reference point and tell you that they are perfectly normal. A Christian is a person who dismisses any contrary point of view to his or hers through fear that they might loose faith in their magic crutch..

  • WRONG!!!! EEEEEEEEEHHHHHH!!!!!! NO CIGAR!

Are you planning to redeem us and die for our sins? TOO LATE Jesus beat you to it.

  • im sold if can he turn water into wine.

  • that guy is a fag.

  • @MrMexicarabmaN

    "that guy is a fag."

Yes I am a "fag", (fanatic about God) but I feel that its important to capitalize the G for God out of respect for your maker.

We know that God is so the possibility of God watching us is very real,so be nice.

  • Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many." - repent brother, Jesus was a man, the son of God inasmuch as I am the son of God, that the poster of this video is the son of God, that all women and children are similarily the children of God. Do not claim to be God, you are not a Christian if you worship the self. If as you say you are "the Christ" then give up all your burdens and make a pilgramage across the planet to save humanity.

  • for the time is coming very quickly when all people will run out of excuses and this is our very LAST chance to prove that we are worthy of God's grace.

  • a word doesn't mean something simply because you say it does

    your grasp terminology is nonexistent

  • Bow down to the false prophet! Jesus is Jesus, he shares no glory with anyone. No one deserves glory or praise besides him and the father.

  • You seem to have redefined atheism to mean deist. (Deist being someone who believes that God does not interfere in the affairs of man). You then have redefined deism as a God who interacts with the world and whom you can have a personal relationship with! Well at least you define your terms but why change them when there are established meanings to atheism, deism and theism.

  • @zearro53

It's my opinion that these words Deism, and Atheism have changed from their original meanings.

First Atheism way back when didn't necessarily mean the belief in no God,but not believing in the revelations of the established religions of the day such as Judaism,Christianity,Islam.

I get my definition of Deism from Thomas Paine where most people get their definition of Deism from Noah Webster who was a devout Christian who had every reason to deter mankind from the reality of Deism.

  • @CrisisofCivilization I know that I'm here, and for that I feel blessed. I know that my continued existence is because of what other products come from God,so its only right for me too give thanks.

I can only make my own assumptions on who,or what God is through my own life experiences as you've done above. Thoughts, feelings, personal revelations, (oppose too other peoples revelations) some unprovable theories of mine. Believe my truths if you want, but its certainly not mandatory as you know.

  • I visited both a Unitarian Universalist and Unity church a few times and what they preached seems to ring true with your beliefs. As a Deist myself, when I am confronted by people who don't understand Deism, I usually use the ideas presented in Universalism to help explain my beliefs. I visited a Baha'i congregation once where a lady asked me what I was. I told her I was a Deist and immediately the room was filled with questions. I turned to Unitarianism to support my beliefs. Love your videos.

  • @DeistReality

Okay. Well, I can't really argue with the way you feel. Most days, I'm pretty glad to be here too. Still, I don't think you really addressed my questions. : p

  • Why is it right to honor that "something" with the title of God? As a Deist you make no special claim to revelation, and therefore must admit that you have no idea why God created the world. God may have, for all you know, created the world for evil purposes, or (as some believe) the world may have emanated out of God by necessity of what God is, the way rays emanate from the sun, not because it chooses to make them, but because it can't help making them. Ray emanation is in the sun's nature.

  • But if that is the case, that God couldn't help making the world, why honor God for doing what God couldn't help but do? Or if it is the case God made the world for an evil reason, why thank him? It seems the only reason for honoring God would be the following: 1) God freely made the world, 2) when God freely made the world, God made it for a good purpose, and 3) that God will insure that whatever is not good in the world will (eventually) be made up for and/or put right again.

  • Atheist: from Greek atheos, from a- without + theos god. Your adeist tag is superfluous. The word theism (theos means God) need not imply the activity or non-activity of God in the lives of men, whether by personal revelation via a prophet or otherwise. Deism is from the Latin deus which means, simply, "God", and neither does deus imply the activity or inactivity of God. Also, not all atheists would say the universe came from nothing.

  • When the Atheist watches my videos, and sees I believe God is active in my life they call me a Theist, why is that? In the Bible they don't call God "the Theity" they call him "the Deity". I see what your saying here for the most part, but know that its the greek letter "a" in front of any word that makes it without,or the opposite of whatever word we're talking about.

I've never seen an Atheist who thinks that Life comes from nothing. I've only seen them preach that we shouldn't call "IT" God.

  • @ DeistReality

"When the Atheist watches my videos, and sees I believe God is active in my life they call me a Theist, why is that?"

Because the atheist (whoever he is) assumes the word theism implies more than it does. As I already stated, theism (from theos) implies nothing whatsoever about the activity or inactivity of God in our lives. While in popular parlance "theism" may be used to imply God is active in our lives and "deism" used to imply he is not, etymologically that is not the case.

  • @ DeistReality

"In the Bible they don't call God 'the Theity' they call him 'the Deity'."

First, I never used the word "theity." I've no idea where you got that from. Second, the New Testament regularly uses the word theos to refer to God.

  • it´s not reasonable to think we came from nothing? fine. But it´s even less reasonable to think we came from an invisible guy in the sky who if we´re good will let us go to heaven and if we´re `bad` we´ll go to hell!

  • isttalkbananas

You seem to have a narrow "Abrahamic" view of God? The word,or title "God" is just a pointer word that starts us off on a grateful path of understanding. It means different things to different people.

It is "fine" to think that we come from something, and it's right IMO to honor that something with the honorary title of God.

  • well of course! everybody should be able to believe whatever they want to believe without being judged by it! BUT the bibel leaves no room for people who think differently. So for non-christians like myself it´s hard to respect people who think we deserve an eternity of torture simply for being gay or having different views on religion and god.

  • Deism does not teach that God is a man in the sky who rewards us when we're good and punishes us when we're bad.

  • CrisisofCivilization

True, Deism teaches us that God is,and the Creation is the best way of ascertaining any real truths on the matter.

Just knowing that God is real leads me to the realization that ?/S/he just may be watching us. Don't care if you believe that,or any other Deist believes that. I believe, and walk this planet having this truth for myself.

I've already received "amazing grace" by just being here,so weather God watches,or not matters little.

  • Very informative.

The political context around Thomas Pain is highly complicated, and I see no political context in the story here. The Prophet Elia, and also Jesus Christ, where highly political. Knowing the truth, that you researched well, is helpful though. The political context of Jesus Christ is Spartacus: 7000 people crucified, as was any one else refusing to become a slave. The political context of Thomas Paine was the French Revolution and the American Constitution, if I am right...

  • Christ was clearly part of God because he was able to be sinless. We aren't able to be sinless.

  • henryforshaw

Look up the meaning of the word sin,and you'll see that it simply means to miss the mark.

The character (allegory, myth,or fable) Jesus was sinless because he lived a life of truth. When we fall short from the glory of God we fall short from what is truth.

Christ is just a title given to a person who's been anointed in some spacial way. Its not in mans power to anoint another man a God.

We're all Deists who believe God is. Where we differ is our path of understanding.

  • Excellent video! Faith has been so tainted and corrupted by clouded reason that its value in modern society has plummeted to abysmal levels! A true shame!
