It's great how everyone screams about the shotty quality of the Genesis' parts and manufacturing. Yet it has the most extensive warranty and above average reliability and cars such as BMW, MB and Audi have horrible warranties and need maintenance constantly. The Genesis boasts (in its luxury price range) the most powerful engine, longest lists of features, best stereo, and very high end interior comfort and fit and finish. It's fine if you prefer another car, but to say it's garbage is...garbage
@scaremengaviation in my opinion, I think the genesis has a fantastic interior. I went to an autoshow and went inside the genesis. I was surprised by the quality of the interior and how it looked. I own a Mercedes-Benz C-class and I didn't find the awesomeness of the genesis in the interior. When I said that people who own Benz's should be jealous of the genesis, I was referring to myself.
Gotta like the rust around the welds of the brand new exhaust. Although, it has to be said that Hyundai has come a long, long way. Don't like the grille, if it was nicer, it'd look really nice.
@JamalGibran my sister inlaw had a 2001 s500 mercedez and iam not knocking the mercedez its a very beautiful car .But that genesis has more bells and whistles and also commandes the road better to me and has alot of horsepower it just keeps going and going no hard ride .Hyundai isnt one of my favorites but i must give them there props they have came along way thanks to the sonata genesis and equus that brought them back from the dead

And more importantly, it's still a Hyundai. The last time I checked, Hyundai is not in the luxury market. @giannial1985 Yeah, but a new Focus has way better interior than this, even my old 97 Opel Corsa has more attractive interior, and it is just something about the looks of the car that makes me think cheaply made Chinese Benz copy, the grille mostly. Tough I haven't touched the materials in a newer Hyundai, it might be soft, but to my eyes it doesn't look good.
@CDTbossy The current focus interior quality is horrible compared to this. It's as bad as my escort. But the new 2012 focus should have real high quality materials. The genesis has a high quality, soft interior. But I agree with you, it doesn't look attractive. It might feel good, but it has to look good too. And the genesis interior doesn't look that great. There own equus and sonata look better inside :).

part of the dashboad is stealed from mercedes, the keyless shirp is from infiniti, the back of the car is from bmw and the front from mercedes. like some other things.
The review itself it nice but here are some problems with the car: the tail lights were copied and pasted directly from a BMW 5 series, the emblem resembles a Bentley's, which this car is not, and the grill is taken exactly off of a Mercedes. I'm not saying the car itself is a total piece of crap, but it lacks innovation and originality. With all due respect, the engineers at Hyundai steal most of their ideas from other manufacturers.
I hate these cars, that grille, is just a mercedes grille, those gauges look alot like lexus' and Im pretty sure that engine is Toyotas! Ha lol, but this car is a bunch of elements from other luxury cars, thrown into a hyundai chassis!
I like what the Asians are doing in the auto world. The 2006-2008 Acura TL is a car that I still desire greatly, the 2010 V6 TSX is nice, The Lexus IS 350 is crazy good, and now the Hyundai Genesis. I like the V6 trim of this car; I would get that trim and trick out the exterior.
I didn't expect Hyundai to put a 4.6 V8 in their vehicles, interesting. I just see Hyundai with most of their 4 or 6 cylinders. Does this car come in a 6 cylinder? The new Hyundai's are really nice, i like the way they make their center dash. I like the speakers, it sounds awesome. Nice vid!

Don't you think Hyundai tried to mimic BMW's iDrive system with the stereo and NAV setup??? How much horsepower is the Genesis 4.6 rated at? Because my dad has an '03 Town Car and his 4.6L Modular V8 delivers a dissapointing 239 horses. My mom's '05 Toyota Avalon Limited produces about 255 horsepower with a 3.5L V6. BTW, one hater keeps disliking your video.

@SaabKyle04 Does the Nav unit and controls not remind you of a BMW 745? awesome tour but I prefer the coupe. The sedan and coupe look nothing alike. I was expecting the interior to resemble one another just a little.
I like the idea of having dark carpet with the beige interior. The BMW that you reviewed a few days ago had beige carpet with the beige leather and the carpet was full of visible dirt. even though as a lot car I bet it is cleaned regularly.
Also, just wait till Hyundai puts direct injection in its V8. Either the power or fuel economy or both will be awesome.

I hate these cars, that grille, is just a mercedes grille, those gauges look alot like lexus' and Im pretty sure that engine is Toyotas! Ha lol, but this car is a bunch of elements from other luxury cars, thrown into a hyundai chassis!

The interior is soo nice but whats the deal with that clock. It looks out of place and cheap. That would defiantly ruin it for me.

I like what the Asians are doing in the auto world. The 2006-2008 Acura TL is a car that I still desire greatly, the 2010 V6 TSX is nice, The Lexus IS 350 is crazy good, and now the Hyundai Genesis. I like the V6 trim of this car; I would get that trim and trick out the exterior.

I didn't expect Hyundai to put a 4.6 V8 in their vehicles, interesting. I just see Hyundai with most of their 4 or 6 cylinders. Does this car come in a 6 cylinder? The new Hyundai's are really nice, i like the way they make their center dash. I like the speakers, it sounds awesome. Nice vid!

I noticed the sound of the horns are different on the sedan and the coupe. The sedan has a big car country horn (which I prefer), and the coupe has the city car horn. I wonder why Hyundai made them different?

Don't you think Hyundai tried to mimic BMW's iDrive system with the stereo and NAV setup??? How much horsepower is the Genesis 4.6 rated at? Because my dad has an '03 Town Car and his 4.6L Modular V8 delivers a dissapointing 239 horses. My mom's '05 Toyota Avalon Limited produces about 255 horsepower with a 3.5L V6. BTW, one hater keeps disliking your video.

I sure would love to have this and the genesis coupe in europe, but as people have been saying audi, mercedes and BMW pretty much dominate the luxury segment.

I like the idea of having dark carpet with the beige interior. The BMW that you reviewed a few days ago had beige carpet with the beige leather and the carpet was full of visible dirt. even though as a lot car I bet it is cleaned regularly.
Also, just wait till Hyundai puts direct injection in its V8. Either the power or fuel economy or both will be awesome.

Hyundai really does their work on their cars. Does that trunk open without the remote near the car? I am curious because you just pushed the button on the trunk. The door handles was another issue as well. Thank you for sharing.
