  • For those straight kick "being on your toes" won't you get taken down easier guy can just grab your leg and sweep

  • I love it!

  • All I can say is don't drop your hands dropping guard is the WORST THING you can do

  • @FightersNest no its not its being called christopher hahahahahaha

  • Im a boxer, but i would love to also kick, any decent kicks i should look into practicing? Just incase, you know, anyone tries something special and i dont wanna just punch

  • @marcroops when you do your knees shouldnt yur toes point downward?

  • those are good kicks

  • Would you really want to balance mainly on the balls of your feet? I always thought a firmer base would be with a flat foot on the ground.

  • In Muay Thai, Boxing and other Martial Arts staying on the balls of your feet will help with speed and quickness...especially in Muay Thai when your opponent will usually counter right away...BUT..in order to generate power and balance, starting flat footed is definitely what you want to do. When teeping you want to be fast and the fighter will generally start flat footed to generate power but then raise to the toes for the teep. This is a drill to get muscle memory of the teeping movement

  • @marcroops I've also done Muay Thai for a very long time and have participated in fights, you are 100% right for once somebody on the internet knows about thai you ARE meant to stay on the balls of your feet.. Thank you.

  • There should also be a balance between fighting with yoru feet flat and also on the balls of your toes, depending on the strike you are enforcing - watch some instructional Muay Thai videos on funkmma website or youtube anad of course talk to your Ajahn or Kru - Funk

  • YOU HAVE TO RAISE YOUR KNEE TO YOUR CHEST

  • With all due respect, this is the first white guy i see that looks great, almost like a Thai would. His technique is awesome!!.

    Keep it up bro!!

  • when the foot gets red its a sign that he did his job. he trained, he gained knowledge and power. thats what training is about. let him do his thing i think he did well :)

  • I love how creative your workouts are!

  • @ac061590

    You must be joking.

  • I respect what you guys do I'm studying really hard tryingto learn basics. My ultimate goal is to fight and I'm 29. Just wanted to say good journey in MMA.

  • excellent video thanks for sharing :o)

  • very good technique, very good variation, GREAT workout

  • great workout!

  • His kicks sucked cuz he was using his foot to kick. His feet were so red. Bad kicks bro

  • @SupremeMaGiiC i seen that to but u can kick with your foot. I train every day in Muay Thai and Sambo *also other arts but just recently picked up pressure point fighting. just to help with ground game* but i check the inner llegs and thighs with my feet. and the redness of his feet are good because there getting stronger and eventually wont even hurt him. Just hurt the other guy. Im training for Chaos In the Cage in California. have a good one.

  • @SupremeMaGiiC ...just go a little bit closer to the sandbag and you can hit with the shin..not a big deal, i liked the kicks

  • @SupremeMaGiiC his kicking technique was on point, yes he wasnt hitting with his shin, but way to many people forget that in a fight your opponent is always moving, sometimes you cant hit with the shin, he's circled or backed up and its your foot that connects, the whole leg must be properly conditioned.

  • Badass workout, will get you in shape and ready to kick ass!!!!

  • He's got really good kicks. I wonder what his punches look like?

  • watching this really showed perfect form techniques, i'm gonna imcorporate this into my training

  • great!!!!

  • Damn.. That dude would def destroy some ribs..

  • wouldnt the wall teeps hurt your knees?

  • damn that guy has some calves

  • funk, is the teep same as the "push kick"?

is it more of a defensive kick or can it be used for attacks. And can the striking are be the heel because that does more damage.

  • @mrdominicsee same as puch kick. but u wanna strike with the tip to your foot. no not with heel :)

  • Great workout and beautiful technique !!!!

  • wow he got nice forum

  • he has bad ass footwork! good stuff!

  • haha when he was doing the alternating knees it looked like the bag was bruising up

  • Great video please add more thank you

  • hey dunk, do you need to build up your shins for this because they are going to hurt like hell and if you try to run that is the worst feeling ever?

  • @nemanjamoreheadcity i meant to say funk.

  • really good clip should show more like this .

  • nice one, you should make more of these, instead of just lifting weights and stuff

  • @diularsing123 Oh I will - in fact go to funkmma website and in the next few weeks, you will get more MMA technique vids (Muay Thai, Wrestling, BJJ, Boxing)
