If the autoaim was taken out it'd be nearly impossible to target accurately with your thumbs and a pair of sticks.

Additionally consoles do not have enough keys to cover the amount needed to play an RTS well.

This game didnt take ten years to make it just took a few years for them to look at the sc universe again and say " ok we'll make a number 2 , its only been about 3 or 4 years in the making tops before then it was just rumors. I have a feeling that the reason its taking so long is that Blizzard realized this as well. They decided they need to make it look like a real next-gen game and ended up taking even more time to do it. I think its going to be a major disappointment once its out.
