I'm not sure whether you ordered these songs by personal preference of the music, or by each song's prestige, and in which sport it is considered prestigious. I would say ND is the most prestigious in football, and even in basketball it's high up there. Hail to the Victors, as far as prestige goes, should definitely be in that list. And if basketball prestige means anything at all, Indiana should definitely be in there. They're in a slump just like ND football, but there's lots of history there.

My old high school fight song was On Wisconsin (we were the Trojans, so it was called "Onward Trojans," and all the other lyrics were identical). Our cheer song was USC's Tribute to Troy. One of our rivals in basketball was Franklin Central, and they had Wisconsin's fight song (with the same lyrics too), but was called "Onward Franklin" to them. Lol

one of the greatest band directors of all-time and greatest musical time John Phillip Sousa(creator of the Sousaphone and band director at the University of Illinois) called "Hail to Victors" the greatest fight song ever written, it is also in the CFB hall of fame...KU's is not i do believe. Also "Hail to the Victors" was actually played for president Gerald Ford while he was in office instead of "Hail to the Chief" Can KU fight song beat that? Nope!

Nice that you have Wisconsin in the top 10, but On Wisconsin is one of the all-time classic college fight songs in the land and should be higher. I agree with Notre Dame, USC, Oklahoma and Northwestern being on your list, but Michigan should be in the top 10, as should Ohio State. Hate to say it, but Georgia Tech and LSU are tough to listen to. Also, hearing it ad nausium can get old, but "Rocky Top" from Tennessee is also a college classic.
