They prefer autotune and techno-bubblegum-pop these days, rather than RnB with real singing.. it's not that people can't sing or they can't make real RnB/Hip Hop anymore.. but rather kids have bad taste due to marketing. To sing some kind of shitty autotuned RnB, you have to be a pretty boy(Chris Brown), or pretty girl and wear basically nothing(Rihanna, even Mariah). We live in sad times with shitty overly commercialized music.
