  • It was better when bill

    Smith played bass

  • its too bad that my friend billy joe foster got the terrible disease he got and took his music career away from him.

  • Son, Alan Mundy drives the PISS out of this song!

  • i love at 1:24 when Roland stumbles on his break and just kinda laughs it off, no biggie! i had the pleasure of meeting and jammin with Roland a few years ago at Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival. He was very nice and told me lots of stories of the "old days" in the bluegrass scene.

  • haha, imagine that this is the japanese band The GazettE.. xD

  • Roland White Rules even more!

  • To all the new modern "reso" players-notice Gene Wooten takes a break and plays the MELODY of the song like a "dobro" player should. I would suggest you modern players learn that it is not all about scales and some break that never hints of the melody. Oh how we miss Gene and Uncle Josh.

  • I was fortunate enough to see this group at the Kerville (Texas) Bluegrass Festival in the late '80s and meet them individually. The group at that time consisted of Bill Smith, Roland White (mando player in this video), Joe Carr and Alan Munde (banjo player in this video). Awsome harmony and excellent musicians. I still have a couple of vinyl albums by the group (signed), and pull them out ever once in a while to get my "bluegrass fix". So such gooood times!

  • Banjo pickn's pretty good, too! ♥

  • Love that mando playin' !!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

  • So Damn GOOOD!!!!!!

  • awesome great picking. real professional bluegrass

  • Sweet ass band!!!! Dang Good!

  • What an amazing example of Billy Joe Foster's versatility and amazing musicianship.

  • Amazing!

  • Me encanta esta música!!!

    saludos desde EUROPA...viva yooooo!

  • I like this song a lot.

  • I saw Country Gazette perform a tune, circa 1974, where Byron Berline stood behind Roland White, placed the fiddle under Roland's chin, Roland took the bow, Byron took the pick and they played a fiddle/guitar duet playing left hand of one instrument and right hand of the other. I am hoping someone has a video out there somewhere of this routine. Anyone?

  • Gene Wooten rules.

(lekkere griet werkte daar toen trouwens...'

  • I love this music!

  • Just fantastic!

    MORE PLEEEEEEZE

  • Pure poetry.

  • Please post more Country Gazette!

  • Awesome, nuff said!

  • Thanks for the post, Love Country Gazette!
