Did you find the tricks from the internet? I've been looking up tricks to teach my 5 year old mare. Do you think you coudl give me some tips? Did you purchase a video, book, etc or did you just teach form your knowledge. Or from what you've read online. Because already, my baby girl is quite a character
I would recommend you purchase Alexandra Kurland's "Clicker Training For Your Horse." That's how I got started, it will explain the things you need to know and give you ideas to get started. The trick books they have out there tend to use force to train instead of positive reinforcement.
Hi there, I've been doing a bit of trick training myself and wanted to comment on a really nice spanish walk he has good straight high action, well trained :-)
He is clicker trained...I taught him to touch (target) his knee to the dressage whip, then slowly developed that into the walk (and trot)...then faded the whip...the cue is to raise my hand up.
That is so cute!

You are very good! So is the horse! I think he enjoys it too. That is important!
