  • Great video. Q142 is one of my favorite trains through Folkston. Love that W&A Sub action up yonder. Keep up the fantastic work.

  • @SFLRailFan Thank you for the compliment!

  • Q740 is the juice train. maybe they were left behind in Jax Moncrief yard. If so, someone was pissed on the billing

  • Q142 regularly carries Tropicana reefers up front. Jax Ramp receives them from both Q740 and from FEC. They're headed for Cincinnati.

  • Cool, Dude!

  • is that the orangejuice train?

  • Awesome catch Kyle, people who graffiti on railroad property should be sentenced to 3 years in prison, in my opinion. Railroads should be more strict, when it comes to that, and when caught in the act the suspects should have to pay the cost if the railroad wants to repaint the unit to get it back to the way it was.

  • Well the only reason why I think Q581 wasn't blowing his horn because since Q142 was blocking the crossing, vehicles weren't going to cross anyways so there was no need to.

  • My understanding of FRA guidelines is that all trains my sound horn at a crossing unless it is marked as an approved silent crossing. Am I wrong?

  • That's what I always thought also.

  • All reasons could be logic.
