This song is still one of the most epic songs ever. I first saw Aliens when I was 3 or 4, and it opened the door for me for loving sci-fi, horror and extraterrestrials, but even now this song and the scene it coincides with still leaves me at the edge of my seat. So perfect!

@Taliesin109 Original version? As far as I know, NO version differs in that line. All cuts from the original theatrical to the cleaned/shortened TV versions have that line as "DRAKE, WE ARE LEAVING!"

Check the subtitle track on a DVD if you don't believe me. That first word is just quite indistinct and is very often mistaken for "Marines" by viewers.

@Jc40k1 Yeah, or maybe more correctly M56 Smartguns. Those are the only weapon being fired in this scene other than M240 flamethrowers and Hicks's famous "Close Encounters" Ithaca 37. The Smartgun has its own unique sound from the pulse rifle. I also think of "Ripley! GO GO GO!" and, for some reason,the scream of the Alien that got roadkilled by the APC.
