@YoungNubb It's certain songs that create that stereotype. Ever hear "Red Solo Cup" by Toby Keith? It reinforces every negative stereotype about country music's target audience. The singer sounds extraordinarily drunk when he's singing it, the lyrics are really dumb, and they essentially say "If you don't do things my way, you're not worth a damn." in several places. All in all, it's a terrible song. Some mainstream country is good, but I think the best is classic and underground.
