  • James Newton Howard has the unbelievable ability to sound like everyone else other than 1 single style. This sounds like a combination of John Williams, Alan Silvestri, James Horner, and many more. That is the reason why he is the best; not any two of his scores even sound similar. A true original genius.

  • Howard is a new composer to me. Reminds me of James

    Horner's music.

Wyatt was still alive when my dad was young. His widow Josephine

wrote a book called "I Married Wyatt Earp". Josie was still alive

    when I was a kid.

History is sometimes just around the corner.

    Tnx 4 posting.

  • @rockgor My Pleasure, Glad you enjoyed.

  • It's time to wake up America. The grit of these American Pioneers is lacking in our society today. We're letting ourselves be out done by China and India and in doing so sacrificing our position as the strongest economy in the world. Everyone is to blame. The big companies have been too greedy and the unions have been unreasonable as well. We're far to worried about our feelings and everything we do or say offends some group. People like Wyatt Earp were ballsy risk takers who built America.

  • beautiful theme. the movie is quite good, telling the complete story of Wyatt Earp. Tombstone is also pretty good.

  • If you like this soundtrack, try James Horner's from "Legends of the Fall." It'll blow your mind.

  • @colinfirthfan Try the Tombstone soundtrack...it's also really good and, naturally, is a similar western style to this soundtrack.

  • Simply Beautiful!

  • I have this soundtrack. I play it all the time in my truck while traveling through the deserts of Utah. Absolutely amazing experience! Thanks for posting this on YouTube!

  • Let's not gild the lily here... he was also a convicted brothel-keeper, convicted of beating a prostitute, gambler, probable horse-thief (he fled trial) and did his part to exterminate the buffalo.

But let's end on the positive: he was genuinely fearless, utterly loyal to his friends, and always saw a job through to the end, no matter what.

No angel, but much to admire.

  • Wyatt Earp is an icon of what America was and will be again. Bold, brave, fearless, moral people who stand up to evil and defend the weak against the unrighteous strongmen no matter what the cost. This is the human ideal. This is the best of what humans can be.

  • Bellisimo,!!

I really love this movie and this amazing soundtrack,!!
