  • mines a stock 4.2 manual long bed 05 an with my cover on bed I get excellent gas mileage bout 18 to the gallon

  • who cares how dirty it is its a truck u shoulda made a walk around vid. but nice truck anyways from what i can see sounds good. what kinda tips are those

  • true dual?

  • when u remove a muffler does that shit affect mpg at all??

  • @angrydawg78 Thanks im looking to do this on my 04 f150 but im a huge diesel fan so i would love an f2 or f350

  • whats your mpg now with the straight pipe???

  • @BigSiv32 I don't have this truck anymore I upgraded to an F-350 turbo diesel (lovin it!!) but I do miss that sweet gas exhaust sound, with exhaust, programmer and tires, i was still running in that 16mpg range sometimes i'm a little bad on the go-pedal so take that number with a grain of salt.

  • @angrydawg78 nooo wayyyyy i have that truck and get like 10-12 mpg

  • @thanextjordan23 take your foot out of it. my 84 gets 12

  • STRAIGHT PIPING IT... THATS HOW WE ROLL IN WISCONSIN!!! Nice truck

  • Thanks. I got an x pipe on my F150 now, but it's dumped at the rear axle. Sounds real nice $228.

  • sounds good, lookin forward 2 seein another vid

  • Yeah I need to get a different video up ha ha, as soon as the sun comes back out again!!!!!!

  • Is this the 5.4? what is the exact set up?

  • Yes it is the 5.4, 3 valve stock motor, that runs into stock cats and 2.5" straight piping with an "X-pipe" welded in. out to the tips.

  • if you dont mind my askin how much did that run you?

  • a grand total of $260 and I was on my way

  • @angrydawg78 what does the x pipe do? i have just put on a straight pipe on my 04 new body 5.4 and it doesnt sound like this.... i have a video check it out if you get the chance thanks bud.. o its sounds like a monster

  • @turbocharged258 The x-pipe just simply equalizes the pressure through the dual exhaust system, instead of one pipe running a little heavier than the other they both are getting equal pressure. I think your 04 may have 4 cats, and my 05 has 2 cats (I think can't remember) so that may be part of the reason for the difference in sounds. But your truck sounds great man, good job on the homemade exhaust!!

  • @angrydawg78 i think from 97-january of 2005 f150's had 4 cats, so if your truck was produced after january of 05, it only has to factory cats.

    truck sounds awsome BTW!!

  • Sounds like a pulp wood truck. I'd put flowmasters on it so it'd have that one and only kinda sound that a flowmaster gives.

  • sounds good but u need 2 get some 4'' like mine haha but still sounds great

  • $260 out the door!

  • How much did your entire system cost? Thanks

    Sounds good

  • soundin mean dude!

  • That is sweet. Would they do that to a 2008 expedition limited w/a 5.4L V8?

  • I don't see why there would be any complications in putting the same kind of system on a 2008 expedition. The only thing you really ever have to be concerned about is where they have o2 sensors in the newer vehicles, but I believe ford still has them in the cats and not anywhere along the piping so you should be good to go!

  • can meineke install a exhaust system like that too?

  • I don't know if meineke would want to install a system with no mufflers??? All you can do is ask them!

  • yes they do. lol i just went today and asked them and they suggested it. i get it done next weekend. how do you like it though?

  • Love the exhaust has gotten a touch louder and and I feel it helped my acceleration out a little bit.

  • its the 3 valve, 5.4 liter.

  • Which motor is this? It sounds good. I love that cackle. 5 stars
