I know you guys aren't going to comment back, much less even read this. But how can you say Daybreakers is better than Avatar if you haven't even seen Avatar?
you know i love you guys :D and most of the time, i have the same opinion as you guys.. but avatar is one of the best movie i have ever seen... first of all the effects was good. the story was good.. i feel sry for you guys.. if you did not see it in 3D.. it's not the same 3D as before it's called Silversreen.. :D but anyway Daybrakers was good to :P

Damn...I thought they would of said sth good about Avatar. I found it one of the best films of recent years. It's possible to look past the cgi...especially when comparing it to Fern Gully.
I'm shocked at the 5/5 rating for Daybreakers...I couldn't wait to get out of that movie! From the cheesy one-liners, to the overly dramatic horribly edited scenes that ended before they even began, to the cheesy background music -I couldn't stop laughing. Worst movie I've seen so far this year and I had really high hopes for it.

I hate to say this but I actually disagree with you guys for once. I thought Avatar was actually quite good, and even though it's all CGI It's some of the best I have ever seen. yes the plot is not perfect, but there is no denying that it was a visually stunning film.
I think you guys need to give Avatar a chance before you totally dismiss it. It had so much CG because they were trying to push the boundrys of what could be done. You can't say that people only like it because it's 3D, because if that was true then we wouldve heard a lot more about My Bloody Valentine and The Final Destination.
Also, Bernie Mac's best film was Oceans Eleven. Transformers doesn't even come close.

The reason is why Avatar doesn't have "amazing cgi" is because they wanted the characters to actually have expressions and for everything to flow. Movies with over done cgi the characters just look fake and lifeless.

Saw 'Old Dogs' on cable and it was definitely not, well, you guys said it best. Also, great review on 'Day Breakers', I'm looking forward to seeing it next weekend. Lastly, I'm not gonna push it on ya, but I do recommend seeing Avatar. I can tell you guys aren't that thrilled about it and I see where you are coming from with the whole 3D thing, but don't let that deter you. I know people say it's the same ol' same ol' plot but it didn't bother me. Also, James Cameron never disappoints, imo. ^_^

Man you guys Shawn and MJ are the same way like Mitch and Gabe from Wetmovie1. You guys hang out but just seem like you have so many problems with each other. Saw 'Old Dogs' on cable and it was definitely not, well, you guys said it best. Also, great review on 'Day Breakers', I'm looking forward to seeing it next weekend. Lastly, I'm not gonna push it on ya, but I do recommend seeing Avatar. I can tell you guys aren't that thrilled about it and I see where you are coming from with the whole 3D thing, but don't let that deter you. I know people say it's the same ol' same ol' plot but it didn't bother me. Also, James Cameron never disappoints, imo. ^_^
