@KuraiNetsujo pre pointe is the very basics of pointe, if you watch, they dont do very much on pointe so they havent learned a whole lot yet, thus the name is pre-pointe
I really enjoyed watching this video, I am part of a Christian dance company myself, it's awesome that there are more and more of them out there! I love the pionte work, you all are very good :)
The others are really good as well, i would just say work on their turnout. that is really a problem. but other than that i think they got some potential. :)
I used to go to a christan school and it was nothing like this we still did competitions and wore tuts and two piece jazz costumes we just sometimes used Christian music and the teachers were Christian and we prayed before class
It is really nice to see a dance school that is christian and glorifies God but at the same time is making beautiful dancers out of so many young women. I was in a christian dance school for many years, and while I LOVED the smaller classes, the teacher and the music, when I had to switch studios because of a conflict with Bible study (of all things), I realized that I while I had the experience I did not have the technique that almost everyone else in my new classes had.
Pre-pointe? The instructors for these young women need to focus a little bit more on technique. They are working through some complicated footwork but turnout, arms, and poses/positions are not being fully hit. With some polishing these dancers could really present some competion. All in all I did enjoy watching them perform.
the girls at the beginning were good in themselves, but needed to practice more at being together. and the solos and first duo were amazing! its really cool that they're all Christian!
No, I was just razzing MXrider because he did the lighting for the show and more often than not his beautiful lighting would smack me right in the face where I was filming up in the loft, above the audience. I think he enjoyed it....he did the same thing the year before.
Thank goodness!!!!! I'm literally just turned 11, and I have to take medicine that helps me not worry so much, so I get a little scared and confused sometimes! :)(and lately I have been worried that I will go blind, for some odd reason!)

pre-pointe means they are before pointe and I call those pointe shoes!!

Not necessarily, in this case it could just be their term for beginning pointe. Every ballet school is different.

This is NOT a Pre-Pointe class. Some Pre-Pointe class aren't on pointe at all and look at the work they are doing

I think it's sort of like the levels Pre-Ballet, they are in ballet but they are a basic level of ballet....so Pre-Pointe Basic pointe.
