I'm glad to read all the people who can apreciate the magical art in Pop album! As well No line on the horizon was the same, a great, deep and artful album with bad reputation!!

Pop, as well as No Line On The Horizon, got awesome reviews but failed to create a "hit single". If you listen to those albums for a few weeks, every freaking song is good enough to top the charts. Media doesn't care about depth, lyrically and musically, they're just looking for a catchy riff or tune. Ridiculous.

Pop wouldn't be my favourite album, but this song stands out and is in my opinion up there with the best of them. Hair raising stuff! :D

I think the whole POP album is under rated. On the surface it appears to be just pop tunes "bubble gum music" but listen closer and the lyrics reveal some very deep issues. I find it compelling.

Totally agree. This is my second favorite U2 album. Even the disco/electronic type songs kind of grow on you.
