@Maximillionaire666 nah I think Conan and LOTR are much too different from their basic atmosphere to interchange the OST. LOTR is more mystical and about hope and stuff while Conan is much grittier and about revenge and honor. But both Soundtracks are among the best in Cinema history and serve their purpose to underline the visuals. In terms of raising the movies overall quality I would even put Conan's OST on an equal level as "Once upon a time in the west".

At the beginning, when it builds up tension slowly according to enemy appearance 0:15 - 0:49, just to errupt into the mighty pattern of 0:50 leading you without a doubt that great battle is coming and it was only silence before the storm. But when 1:25 kicks in with prayer part, music is once again calm but yet powerful - portraying the fact, that fight its not about fight itself, but for what we stand in it. Master-fucking-piece of art, all hail Conan.
